This kind of makes my entire life, because I've always wanted them to be on that show. Jon is a pretty big Coldplay fan, as he's mentioned more than once, and the second time Gwyneth was on the show, he just wouldn't shut up about Chris. (Let's just say he's also a huge Gwyneth fan too :wink3:)

Tuesday to Friday its on More4 over here in UK & Eire and I love it to bits. Have been watching it here for welll over a year - since it started showing here actually. Jon is great, his Bush impersonations crack me up no end. Last night is was all about how Bush is now using the word "awesome" - man, neither McCain nor Obama will be as much fun to mock!

Thanks again! The second interview really takes a turn for the weird and you got the feeling it should have been Chris up there instead of Gwyneth lol. Still, Jon's great. Gonna be interesting to see the four crammed round the table alright! I wonder if Chris will bring up that "my son - bang - your daughter" comment from a few years ago.

 

Btw anyone notice how much the sets have changed over the years - its like it gets changed every year since Jon came on!

they got a completely new studio in the past two years or so. colbert now has the old studio :D

Lol yeah I remember when he had John Kerry on the show and he was like twice as tall as Jon haha.

There's an interesting clip on YouTube where Colbert talks to Charlie Rose about his big-brother relationship with Stewart - I think the title is "Colbert shmoozes about Jon Stewart" or something.

Honestly though it would have gone down like a lead ballon if she replied, "No, I don't care for his music, its sh!t" at which point the audience, and Jon, would have seen how well she could hold up to 100 people screaming at her for 5 minutes. The perfect interview!

you know i was left heart broken and i am still unable to forget that pain even today,when i read that Chris's married,dated gwyneth and have children with her.

 

but what, eventhough i am fan of him now too and will remain for ever.

 

i really like the pleasure in liking him because he's not like many highly posh celebs, even today he thinks in that simple way like when he was always before he started this band!

Yeah, when people find out how much I love Coldplay (well, they never really know the full extent, do they?) they always ask me if I was upset when I heard Chris married Gwyneth. I don't know how to explain this to them, but I feel like Chris Martin is way more than that. He's like, CHRIS MARTIN!!! It's not like I want to date him, I just want him to keep making music forever and ever. Hahaha, did that make any sense?

 

Anyway, I am really excited for this Daily Show appearance. Does anyone know if its possible/difficult to get tickets? (I live in NY) Either way, I will be watching!

Well I'm sorry you feel that way but i hope that the pain eases itself over time. At least you have the courage to admit to it and that's something cos many would just try to hide it all away and that's worse. I do hope it gets better for you.
