There are some resemblences, although they didn't change the picture from the original.

I'm pretty sure that's not why they chose that picture, it' just a coincidence

This is the same phenomenon that led to the famous rumor of "Paul is Dead" back in the 60's with The Beatles. Three to One. Three have the same characteristic and One is different or missing. And talking about "coincidences", I was interviewed 2 years ago at Interference and predicted what is happening right now with regards to their faces appearing on the cover, it's the last question on the interview.
