Lovers in Japan

Studio - the piano and drums take it to a whole new level.

This was the song i wanted to hear the most when we had just the titles. And i have to say that it is everything i thought it might be!!!It just gets better with each listen!!

Both are great, but I have to say I prefer the acoustic version. There's something about the guitar in it that reminds me of rain, the light drizzling on your windowpane that occurs once a storm lets up... the ambience of it just seems so in keeping with the lyrics, "one day the sun'll come out"... I don't know, maybe it's just me.

ok initially... i said the studio version was better and i voted that way. but after receiving the high quality version of the acoustic LiJ from itunes... my opinion has changed. i'm absolutely in love with the acoustic. however, i appreciate both versions and i still like the album version. we are lucky they gave us both!

yeah better than acoustic, makes me happy

I prefer the acoustic version. It feels more intimate and sounds less like U2.

best song live!

Agreed! It's the mix of the sound, the lyrics, the Japan images, and of course, the butterflies. I remember jumping incessantly to this song at the concert. It was EPIC! :D

I love the studio version. It sounds so lush and reminds me of some crazy, joyful medieval party. Sounds a bit like Arcade Fire.
