starting to hope I don't win now, cos there's a next to nothing chance of me getting the time off work with less than a weeks notice, and would hate to actually win tickets and not be able to go.

Surely they won't let the band play to a half empty venue, will they? I'm thinking that once the band's due on people who haven't got tickets will be let in to make up the numbers. Considering how painful this process has been already, though, I probably won't be going up on the off-chance.

I've tried Burgundy on other sites before and it always says that the name has been taken, so i've got used to putting an A in.

if they do then they really havent though about it properly....most people would have needed to take a day or half a day off...not many people would be able to do that 4 days before

Well think about it... if loads of people outside the UK (and possibly even people in the UK) have applied for tickets but now can't go because they can't make travel arrangements this late, it's not like they can give up their tickets... nor can the organisers reallocate tickets so close to the event date.

 

I think the place will only be 3/4 full...
