the question was: Hey debs just a quick one...have the brixton emails been sent out yet? the ones sent out to the winners..the email confirming the entry said they will be announced on the 5th?

 

 

debs answered: Oh did it? Well I know for a fact they're not going out today. I do know when but not sure if I'm supposed to say or whether it'll be announced on the site.

 

I do think it's late to be sending emails so will ask if we can bring it forward at all. I didn't realize a date had been given. Sorry about that guys.

How big is it? I'm assuming about the same as Birmingham academy which holds about 4000 or so, that would be a great size, ahh it would be absolutely the best day ever if I won... :sunny:

THanks for posting the reply from Debs guys. Does anyone have an email address for her? I'd like to write and explain that possibly hundreds of us have been sitting here all day, a day completely wasted. This thread alone's had more than three thousand hits today!! (And come on, I know I wasn't responsible for anymore than half of them :D)

I'm not going to complain, I'm just going to point it out so that whatever went wrong can be avoided in the future - I'll be doing them a favour (plus they might try a bit harder to push it through;))

Its nice to know, even though i spent my whole day at work refreshing this and my email.

Only problem is, if its any later than midday tommorow im guna really struggle to get the monday and tues off work to get to London for it, a weeks notice it pushing it as it is!

I feel sorry for those who live further away and need to sort out time of work and travel. The gig is just over a week away and if we dont find out today, it's probably not going to be until next week now.
