Okay so, I've been browsing the coldplaying forums since 2003 but i never made an account till 2007, so I thought it would be nice to share this story with you all, and this happened TODAY.

 

So, just today I decided i would start getting into the AROBTTH songs, like amsterdam and warning sign (I'm starting to LOVE them not, i used to hate them)

 

I would listen to warning sign non-stop today, even while we were playing a pick up game of basketball (I live in the provincial housing (ghetto) of Toronto).

 

After I decided i should take a break from Warning sign, I put my ipod beside me and just sat on a nearby bench.

 

I hear 3 gunshots. At first, i thought it would be firecrackers (Canada Day is nearing) but I look to my left, i see a guy shooting 10 other people, just throwing his gun and shooting. I counted like 12 shots before i freaking realized, WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE. I start running, but as I'm running I just feel a connection.

 

Warning Sign. I don't know if its just coincidence or a connection, but its pretty crazy.

 

Warning Sign is my top song now =D

That's so scary! oh my gosh, it was a warning sign. What a nightmare. Seeing a man shoot people. That's traumatizing.

Also, as I ran back to get my bag like a minute after the shots, I see 2 guys on the floor, and one guy limping as if his leg was shot.

 

Im probably the only person in my area that would even listen to a second of Coldplay, heh.

Well the truth is that.... who ever was shot, somebody's gonna be crying I miss you.

You don't need to convince me of it's power, it's my fave song of all time and was partly responsible for me getting back with my little missus 9 months after I broke up with her!

Reminds me of the time "Low" got stuck in my head for a couple hours--which was odd, because I never get songs stuck in my head--and then I went here and it was the first one to pop up. But that doesn't really compare to this...wow.

Nah, I live in Regent Park, an area in downtown toronto.

 

You know whats the funny thing after i turned warning sign on winamp after the shooting, when the song was finished,the shuffle went straight to everything's not lost.

and my winamp playlist has 700+ songs.
