June 12, 200818 yr Not great I don't think, but I'll be going up there too. Sound reasoning :laugh3: Well you don't live outrageously far away so its worth a shot. ;)
June 12, 200818 yr As I'm not a native speaker, Ticketmaster comes in quite handy. I learned a lot of new and strange words the last few hours trying to get a ticket. :D

June 12, 200818 yr Any luck on the phone then? When I called them earlier, they couldn't help me. She knew nothing about whether more tickets will be released later.
June 12, 200818 yr WOOO! My mate got 2 tickets earlier on and i've just found out. He's taking me obviously, lol. Cant believe it after that painful wait follwed by even more painful dissappointment. Just a quick question.....did you originally have to be 18 to enter the competition? Just that on his tickets it just says you have to be over 14

June 13, 200818 yr Russian fan is looking for tickets Hey everyone, know it sounds silly but I am looking for a ticket to Brixton or BBC gig... yeah yeah, me too I am a Russian law student, living here in London for a while. Coldplay are not going to Russia anytime soon, I am leaving the UK in the end of June so this is a unique chance for me to see my favourite band live... To sum up, I would be absolutely happy if anyone could share a spare ticket to any of the June gigs of Coldplay with me my e-mail is [email protected] I have posted this message in three different topics, so please don't think that I am a spam-bot :laugh3:
June 13, 200818 yr Now the Ticketmaster site says: Tickets are currently not available online for one of the following reasons. Please check back for availability. 1. Tickets may not be on sale yet. 2. Tickets may not be available at this time. More tickets may become available later. 3. Tickets may not be available online just hours before an event occurs. 4. On rare occasions, tickets may only be available at Ticket Centres or the box office. I know that's just a generic message, but I like to believe there's still a chance of some more tickets being released. Otherwise they simply could have taken the site down.

June 13, 200818 yr I read in the official forum yesterday that there was indeed an email from Ticketmaster in the morning, saying: "Dear Coldplay fan, A very limited number of extra tickets have now been released for Coldplay at the Carling Academy Brixton on Monday, 16 June 2008. Tickets will be available from mid-day on Thursday 12th June on a 1st come basis. Please note, there is a ticket limit of two per person. To apply for your tickets by clicking on the above Find Tickets link." So some very lucky guys were on the mailing list and got informed. ;)

June 13, 200818 yr I'm most confused by all this hinting and whatnot around here lol. Surely the way to have got a heads-up from TM was to have Coldplay selected for alerts to be sent to you on your TM account (which I didn't, grrrr)... or have I missed something?

June 13, 200818 yr ITFCLocky posted the original heads-up on this thread, and has only ever made that one post... Someone from Coldplay's camp perhaps?????
