Kooks cover Coldplay on Radio 1

Featured Replies

I liked it, funky and upbeat. Dramatic difference from coldplay.

Really love the instrumental arrangement. His voice is kind of... I dunno. There's something I'm not crazy about, but definitely the best Coldplay cover I've heard yet.

yeah his voice is irritating at times, but its nice to see coldplay covered for once

i like it and hate it at the same time.

it seems like they threw in the violin just for the hell of it.. and they pepped it up a bit.

not bad.. i'd have to get used to it.

I think it's a good take on the the original. Maybe it's Luke's high notes that i don't really enjoy...or maybe how his voice can be too breathy at times. I still like it though.

I'm sorry, but I really don't like this...

Way too much going on all at once, and the bloke cannot sing. Fact.

I actually like it, but the original version is way better

HAHAH cool cover, it's a little bizarre

Heh good version, but even they got the lyrics wrong (a love back home unfolds) :D God, I think there's no way we would hear the right thing if there hadn't been for those japanese cd version printed lyrics! ;)

im actually interested in their cover of crazy now haha anyone got it?> toss a link up?

what an interesting cover!

i did not like that at all!

but i hate the kooks anyway so that maybe made me slightly biased :laugh3:

i hate luke's voice though lol
