Toad in the hole - spot on Bangers and mash - ditto Spotted dick - an incurable disease (no I'm kidding lol) doughy pud with raisins! Bubble and Squeak - sounds like its name when it's cooking - any leftover vegetables (traditionally carrots, Brussels sprouts and mashed potato) fried till it squeaks and served with cold meat and pickles Cock-a-Leekie soup - he's right! Leeks and ..... wait for it .....CHICKEN!! I love cheese and potato pie. Layers of mashed potato and cheese, topped with grated cheese and stuck in the oven to melt and brown for half an hour. Lushness!

July 18, 200322 yr Pie made from Shepards....every year lots of shepards get lost looking for their flocks...so when they get found we cut up their bodies and make it into a pie :) Nah just kidding...its a pie made from mince (ground up beef) with a layer of mash potato and cheese baked on top... Oh and then there is Cornish pasties....pastry triangles with a savoury, sweet or meat filling...were consumed by Cornish tin miners.... we have a lot of speciality dishes in UK :)
