July 21, 200817 yr In the early days they were referred to as "the coldplay" im magazines. I don't know if it was a mistake, or if the band put the 'the' there soon after the starfish gig and removed it later on.

July 21, 200817 yr I often mistype it as Coldpaly - but I think that's just poor coordination on my part! LOL @ redgirl, I have the same typo issue too! I was looking at some of the music files I had downloaded and renamed and there were a whole bunch where I'd mis typed the band name as Coldpaly.

July 22, 200817 yr this thread is perfect. i dont usually get annoyed if someone just types cold play or one of the many versions we've obviously seen lol, but if someone proclaims to like or love the band, and they do that...well thats a whole different story. it annoys me so much. if you like a band...you better know how to spell its name.
