oxford street looked pretty great when i was there, but i wasn't in a shopping mood, and i really cannot spend money on clothes when in england. it's ridiculous with the exchange rate.

 

i know own three pairs of skinny jeans in like a week, and three cardigans. what's happening to me? annie, you'd be proud.

i think i was affected by everyone caring a bit more about what they look like over in europe. in america, i regularly go out in my PJs, whereas the ONE time i did that to get butter at the grocery store in holland, i got stared at. i think all the concern with clothes from there has seeped into my subconscious and now i'm upscaling my usual jeans and t-shirts to darker washes and slimmer cuts and cardigans and camisoles :P

i also found it a bit surprising that i've lost about 30 pounds since like, december, yet i had to go UP a size to fit in skinny jeans. i mean, they are tighter than the jeans i usually wear, but i thought all this (unintentional) weight loss would mean smaller sizes :P
