It's getting colder and the days are getting shorter.

So what do we assume?

It's freaking cold around the foot area.

Wearing heels to school and no tights underneath is deadly. And since I do not want to spend the entire winter buying and wearing tights, I might as well shop for new shoes.

The criteria is that they definitely need to have heels and keep warm.

 

Number #1: It's actually not quite my style, but I like that sort of military look. I'm probably not gonna go for these, but I just wanted to show them to you for no particular reason. Hehehe. (from Pimkie, 30€)

 

Number #2: I love wedges, but somehow these wedges look very chunky. I need to see them in the shop to make a decision, since I can't imagine them looking too gracious on paired with my thunder thighs. (from H&M, also available in black, 30€)

Number #3: These are definitely my current favourite! I clearly am a sucker for bows and the colour red. Plus, they look elegant and classy and they match my current coat for autumn very well. (from H&M, also available in black, 35€)

I really need boots. I looked in pretty much every show in town and I just can't find any. The thing is that I don't like those cowboy style ones that seem to be very popular at the moment. Also they need to be flat because I wanna be able to wear them every day and I walk quite a lot.

Grace, I like the first pair, the second is horrible IMO, the third and fourth pair are okay. :)

 

And I also need some boots! Last winter I wanted to buy them but I ended with some Lacoste trainers that are lovely but they're no boots. And I can't find anything I like ... ANYWHERE!! Not even in the capital. :(

i'm in desperate need of boots too. i found ones i like (a few pages back in this thread), but they're quite expensive, and my birthday has been taken up by getting my camera repaired for a small fortune and going to see coldplay.

 

the problem is, i'm really picky about boots. i need them to be flat, round-toed, comfortable as hell, sturdy, and as tall as they can get, yet still so i can zip them up over fat legs. the ones i found are completely perfect, yet i don't have $200 spare lying around these days.

I know exactly what you mean Chelsea! I want an amazing pair of proper leather 'riding-style' boots, but they cost £100+ ($200).

Every year I tell myself I might save up. but I don't.

 

I went to Leeds last Christmas, and managed to get a pair of half price boots (were £40, got em for £20). Very motorbikey but sometimes I wonder if they look a bit too big and imposing lol. I do love them though.
