@grace: definitely the black one, in my opinion. besides the fact that it's high-waist, i have almost the same exact skirt. i'm waiting for it to get colder so i can actually wear it :D

ok. fashion question:

 

scarves are currently all the rage. i quite like them and now have two. one of them is shortish, so i don't have much of a problem with that one, but my other is quite long, and i'm having a bit of an issue wrapping it in that way that everyone seems to be wearing them so it looks nice. when it's just hanging around my neck, the ends to go about my knees, which is rather long. i've been wrapping each end around my neck once so the ends are about at my waist, but somehow it doesn't look as nice as when other people wrap them that super-secret way (and i can't really wrap the entire thing around my neck, as its too long and there's so much fabric that it looks like i have a tire around my neck).

 

sooo, all you fashion-conscious people: how do you wrap a scarf in that way that everyone's wearing them these days? i can't seem to find a good picture of what i mean, though :\

anyways for the last one if your scarf is a square fold it into a triangle, hold it by the long ends in front of you, now wrap both ends around you and tie them loosly together underneath the flap you have, or on top of it, get it? it's hard to explain...

I have different ways of wearing scarves, depending on my mood. For the long one I would wrap it around my neck but backwards, so that way the ends would wrap around your neck in different directions. It's hard for me to describe it, but maybe I'll have some visual aid later.

i'm not the scarf type of person though because i always feel uncomfortable wearing them and i start sweating after i've walked a few hundred metres with a scarf wrapped around my neck. still, i wish i had a big scarf collection because they're so cute! :smiley:

My mom freaked on me this morning for wearing this to school because it was 'too dressed up'. :confused: What the hell, I wore it anyways and I got lots of compliments for it. Even from the bitchy popular girls. :blush: :dozey: LMAO.

 

 

And I wore my new heels with the outfit, btw, if you didn't notice...and sorry for the messy room...it's not even mine. :P

Those scarves are such rip offs, if you ask me. To take something as traditional as our red-and-white checked scarfs or the white-and-black ones that Palestinians wear and turn them into these outrageous colours to make some sort of a trend out of them is such a turn off for me and I find it a bit offensive. Just hope it'll all end soon. :-/
