Hey, since you seem to be the one to aks about Wembley thigns...for some reason I remember reading somewhere that cell phone("mobile" for you Brits) is crap inside the stadium...I hope I'm wrong?!?

Inside on both days I had a pretty good reception, however mobile internet doesn't work (for me) on the GPRS network, however with so many people inside the "cell" of the stadium, SMSs can take a while to get though.

However that was on O2 (via Tesco Mobile), so what it will be like for other networks, i don't have a clue!

what's GPRS network?

so phones DO work then?! so I can tweet?!:idea2:

and Joe...just look at your "Location":nice:<pinch>

Dave, are we gonna get to meet you? since you'll be sitting, are you gonna come by the line and say hi to all the yellow shirts??

GPRS - General Packet Radio Service - '2G' Mobile Internet - Like 'Edge', depends on your phone whenever you can tweet or not.

I will hopefully be doing that, as there is no real rush to get to my seats :)

Awww, thats nice:kiss:

Ya you have to come and say hi Dave!

Have you seen U2 yet Dave?

:escaping:

Yep :)

I saw them on the 14th and 15th of last month

so basically if you see someone walking around in a German black military jacket that could be me ;)

Everyone is seeing the killers lately :surprised:

Hey Pris and Ari!!!

edit: And Crests!

noe were you going to see The Killers that week? or i am mistaken? :anxious:

The Killers, a band I want to see at some point

@Dave...ok so I won't really know if it'll work until I get there...I just regular service, I guess EDGE?!(and thought it's TMobile, apparently the US company and the UK one have nothing to do with each other)So my phone will just pick up service from whatever is around....I have a feeling though, it'll be ok :D

@Ari, yes The Killers was on Tuesday....so sooo much fun. Took some pics&vids, nothing great, but haven't had much time to post/upload, hopefully this weekend.

@Pris!!!:hug::kiss:

@Crests are you all sore from your week of crazy working out?

Ohh, there's so many people in here :surprised:

Hi everyone!! *waves*

Weeeeee, The Killers!!! I can't wait for november

Make sure T Mobile US won't charge you excess money for international roaming, it might be worth picking up a UK sim card to use when your in this country to save you money on roaming bills :)

november :wideeyed:

Heeey Cooky

About your cel, it does work exactly like that, when I went to visit you girls  I took my sister's cel with me and it worked just fine, as soon as I entered american ground it picked up AT&T even though that's got nothing to do with the phone company she's go her cel in.. so don't worry, it'll work perfectly  :D

hey everyone.

@Crests are you all sore from your week of crazy working out?

So much, especially my right arm. Everytime I move it I get some extreme pain :P

november :wideeyed:

Awwwww  Well as long as you enjoy the training it'll be all worth it Crests :nice:

International Roaming will normally pick up the best available signal regardless of the network :)

I already had a long discussion with my phone company:lol:, and yes it's gonna be costly. He even suggested getting a SIM card there, but then I'll have to worry about carrying everyone's number written down somewhre, since I don't remember any! And then if ppl try to reach me...it won't be my#:\ :uhoh: and then I can't use the shiny new phone I just bought:blush:

woho, congrats

No it was my second show...I saw them @MSG in January. And I went with 2 CPers, Christa and Steph(stephberryman, who went with us to Hartford/Hershey in May and also with me to No Doubt:nice:). The show seemed kinda short, and to be honest the crowd wasn't taht lively, until the last 20min:rolleyes:. But the band was great and we had a great time!:D
