Oh Pris, God knows I would looooove to do it. But yeah, I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it. Though, I've been talking with my employer and my contract has no limit in time which means I wouldnt have to quit when I leave for a few months for Spain, and could get my job back when I come back. Means I could save again, and take that year off.. My parents would kill me though!

random but after talking with an old friend of mine today.. i'm thinking what to do with my future....

 

i will finish my degree now (september as lastest, i hope i won't need that option).

 

so then i'll be free to work or keep studying....

 

if study i'm thinking now to take a drama course (writers course), that is 4 years (is a whole degree), and classes are at evening so i could have a job in the morning, problem is that is on another city.

 

i really want to do a writing course somehow, but other courses are more expensive although those finish earlier and are about a subject like poetry.

 

i don't know what to do, do it or not :\

 

any opinions about it?

it would change all my plans for future now, i wanted to get a job and move somewhere, my grandma's probably, now i don't know.

I know everyone is telling you to take some time off, but from my experience, the longer you're away from school, the harder(almost impossible in my case)it will be to go back. Once you start working and get used to the no exams/papers due, having money&free time to do as you like, going back to school seems more like torture.:lol: But maybe in your case, if you give yourself a 1yr limit, and stick to it, it won't be like that. Or if you can both work AND study at the same time, you can get the best of both worlds--though it would make things a bit stressful, but I'm sure you can do it! But I say if you want to keep studiying DO IT!!!! (I can't believe I'm starting to sound like my father, already--I'm not THAT old:stunned:,lol)

I'm with the in laws, but they're renovating their kitchen. Which means it's hell to be here, we haven't even got water to flush the frigging toilet!! :bigcry:

Ari, I think what Pris said is a good advice. Take a year to work (hopefully you'll find a job quickly) and give yourself some time to think about that other course you'd like to start.

I'm still debating with myself on whether I wanna take a year off school after my license degree or not.. but I'd really like to experience having a real full time job before getting my Master's degree. I'm just afraid, I wont want to go back after that...

Chavi, if you know exactly what you want to study, then just go ahead and do it, and like I told Ari, maybe see if you can work&study at the same time. But if you aren't sure...then going to school would not be fun at all...and maybe you need a break. I know it's been frustrating the past few months with the strike and all that:\

yes i could both work and study, since that degree have lectures at 15-21pm, i mean the morning have no lectures so i would work then.

sure it would so stressful, but might be worthy, it would be 4 years (less if i am lucky) and then i'll do what i really want to. :)

 

may be i'll take a year off studies really, i've been studying since i remember and didn't go out that much, i wanna have fun too.
