AROBTTH is still the best Coldplay album to me. It means so much to me. :heart:

 

VLVODAAHF is a close second though :D

I cannot pick between them - it's impossible!

 

I've even been really geeky over the summer. I've played them back-to-back and spent time weighing the pros and cons of each one, but I just cannot decide... :angry:

My attachment to AROBTTH is more emotional that logical. It defines a period of my life, if that makes sense. It will always be my fave Coldplay album, no matter what they release in the future.

I can understand that - I have the same attachment to a particular album (non Coldplay), sometimes you just hear a record and it's like the artist is singing about your life!

Yeah, when they put (sort of) normal people in the house. Instead of the freaks they put in now.

 

But I LOVED that series of BB, I was obsessed with it. And I love it more since it turned me on to Coldplay :nice:

I cant believe its already been six years!

I always loved Parachutes but AROBTTH, sealed the deal for me. I remember wondering if that band that did parachutes would be able to put out a decent sophomore release, and then forgetting about it. Then one late summer night I turned on MTV and who should I see but those Coldplay guys and Chris said something and then started to play the piano opening to "The Scientist". That was it for me, from that moment on I was convinced they were one of the best bands out there. I bought the album at 8am the next morning, and never looked back.

Happy Birthday, AROBTH, it's their second best album at least. ;)
