yesterday i heared the songs one i love,1.36,ladder to the sun and some other bsides that i havent heard in a while and i was thinking wow why arent these songs more popular there so amazing they should be on the radio,the only reason there not is becuase they were not on any albums or EP and i bet the same thing will happen to songs like famous old painters i never heard it before but i know it will be classic!!! these songs need to be marketed better

That may have been a bit harsh. It is a very good album. I'm just frustrated by their inability to put together a decent tracklisting.

I like AROBOTTH, but I think the other Albums are better :)

Because popular as they are, any album with Clocks, The Scientist, In My Place and Politik is always going to be hailed as heaven-sent. The songs are incredible.

 

Adding to that the more subtle beauty of Warning Sign and Green Eyes, the epic AROBTTH and basically the most tearjerking closer ever..

 

Anyway, I digress. Crests of Waves and I Ran Away should be on the new EP.

i think you dont get the whole idea of an album, it´s not just the songs individually, it´s the continuity, how they work together, and a lot of many items.

crest of waves is an amazing song, but let´s face it, it doesn´t fit the rest, nor the meaning or the feeling they were trying to transmit with that album.

it´s not just a bunch of songs thrown into a cd...

Crest of Waves was on the Clocks EP.

 

Methinks 1.36 should have been on the album in A Whisper's place as it would fit better, but A Whisper still is cool. It's twisted :wacko:

I would be perfectly happy with a re-worked version of one of those songs finding its way onto Prospekt's March.

 

Fortunately even I know that's not happening. Is it just me or does anyone get the feeling this EP will be a tightly worked concept album?
