have you heard a live song from the concert ? I m trying but I cannot hear something that sounds like.. :thinking: I tried to join virgin radio with the toolbar radio.. and I tried channels from http://www.absolutextreme.co.uk/ and http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/listen/ but no concert sounds!?:confused:

 

 

ah well not today.. sorry haven t seen the changed title.. we have to wait til wednesday until we can listen to the munich concert on the raido station I think.!?..

The concert is not live on the radio today! Its only going to be aired next Wednesday for the first time :)

Chris Martin chats exclusively to Absolute Radio's Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell on the flight home from the bands gig in Munich

 

Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell travelled to Germany with Coldplay – and one very lucky listener – for the band’s sell out gig in Munich on Friday.

 

Coldplay have long been friends of the station and Chris Martin personally gave Absolute Radio the band’s seal of approval live on stage when he welcomed its arrival to 14,000 cheering fans at the Olympiahalle arena.

 

Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O’Connell spoke at length with lead-singer Chris Martin on the flight home from the gig - set to be broadcast in full on Absolute Radio at 7pm this Wednesday and streamed via online radio at http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk.

 

Chris Martin revealed to the Breakfast Show DJ that he thinks Coldplay are "better than we used to be" saying "we’ve turned from a Mars Bar into a King-Sized Mars Bar!" And talking of Mars Bars, the singer also said "There’s a little bit of fat on me and I realised today, during the encore, I could see the big screen and it adds love handles!" Chris also added these words of advice for any other bands touring at the moment: "This is a tip for anyone who’s playing an arena; don’t let yourself see the screens while you’re playing".

 

Laughing, Christian O'Connell commented that he thought it was really good and asked how the band know when it’s going really well? Chris Martin then revealed: "You get a lot of offers…..you know, the more phone numbers that get thrown on stage, the more the gig is going good. Or fax, or fax - the Germans love a fax!"

 

Chris Martin also told Christian O'Connell he loves the new Kaiser Chiefs’ single saying, "I think it's awesome" and he is currently listening to ‘The Queen Is Dead’ by The Smiths describing it as " frighteningly good". He then went onto to defend Canadian Rock stars Nickleback saying, "I have nothing but respect for Nickelback. They take a lot of flak from people who have never done fuck all in their life and I think they’re great".

 

When Christian asked if Coldplay are looking forward to their O2 gigs later on this year Chris Martin said the band we excited but denied Coldplay could sell out 21 nights like the artist formerly known as Prince. He said: “No, I don’t think we could….you can’t do that unless you’ve got impeccable facial hair…..with this facial hair we could probably sell out five nights".

I´m from Germany and i visit coldplay in Köln...today is the radio concert on absoluteradio but I must go to university....now my question....please can anybody record the concert....please I want to hear it so much! anybody who put it in rapidshare or simpleload.....please,please,please...
