Is there anyone sad because of Coldplay just like me?

Featured Replies

Is there anyone who could go to the Coldplay concert but wasn't allowed to? Today, Coldplay are in Prague, the capital of the Czech republic, I wanted to go there, I had money for it, but my mum didn't allow me to go there. :bigcry:

I hope they'll come here next year and I'll be able to go there. :\

Ah, that really sucks :(. But I'm sure get another chance to see them!

Well how old are you/how far away is it/who were you going with?

Why the hell are you obsessed with people's ages?

It's a valid question in this topic to see if her mum not letting her go was justifiable

that and I am a paedohphile, I like them ripe, just like yourself ;)

It's pretty far from here - about 2hours from my town, but I'd find some to go with me. And I'm 17.

I hope so, it was told in some newspaper that they were going to record a new album next year and have another tour, I hope to see them next year!

ah no that really sucks....I undersand how you feel...I went to the concert in Oberhausen 3 years ago...I was 17 as well and Oberhausen is also 2 hours away from my village...after some discussion my mum let me go...so I was lucky...

I hope you can see them as soon as possible..:nice:

Wow, how did you persuade her? :shocked2: You're so lucky... I WANT TO SEE THEM!

I can't even remember....somehow it worked...I went there alone by train and met Sarah (from this forum) there....everything went well....but I can also understand if your mum is worried....but she should have let you go anyways...:(

That's one of the most horrible things that can happen to a Coldplay fan.

I was in the same situation back in '03 when Coldplay was playing at the Hollywood Bowl.. I was set to go.. I had my ticket and the venue was only about 20 minutes away from my house.

Then... that night... my mum said she didn't want me going cos it was too risky for such a little girl and she had to work that night so she couldn't take me.

I stayed home listening to the concert on KROQ... crying my eyes out.

Safe to say it's one of the most devastating experiences of my entire life :cry:

I'M SAD BECAUSE I'VE NEVDER BEEN TO PRAGUE... ANYWAY SORRY THAT SUCKS BUT PERHAPS YOU'LL HAVE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY

But God knows how long she'll have to wait!! I had to wait more than 5 years to get the chance to go to another Coldplay concert

ale, i'm not a fan of the change of avatar, i'll be honest.

Uhm that is really sad. And ridiculous. You were 20 minutes away with a ticket and you couldn't go because your mom had to work? I'd never talk to my parents again if that something that weird. I mean like unless you were really little or something. How old were you?

My mother once said that i wasn't allowed to go to a Coldplay's gig cuz i have a heart disease :dozey:

Aw, I'm sorry, I know how awful that must feel! I'm feeling similarly, as there are a few NY-area shows coming up in October that I would DEFINITELY be going to if I wasn't so far away up at school! :(

ale, i'm not a fan of the change of avatar, i'll be honest.

Really?? I thought you'd love it seeing as you kept saying I was being too arrogant and full of myself or whatever

I was 12 ..and she's always been extremely over-protective :(

So you won't be able to see them next year?? :stunned:

and DO you have a heart disease?

yeah but still, i'd rather look at your face than jonnys.

i r not gay.

I'm sorry for you. My mother's always fuss and over-protective too. :(

I know my mother would never let me go alone and probably that I'd go with one I'd met here even less, but her boyfriend want to go too, so I guess I don't have to worry about that, if the chance appear. But now my mom wants to go to the concert too, if they get to Denmark. I hope she/they will be at a distance then. :(

I'll pretend you didn't say that about my Jonny :smug::P

you've seen my face enough though.. I think it was time to change it to something less arrogant :shifty:

Having your face as your avatar isn't arrogant, unless the thought process was "hey I'm sexy, people should see my face" which I am sure it wasn't
