Movie legend Paul Newman dies

 

Hollywood legend Paul Newman has died of cancer at the age of 83, his spokesman has confirmed.

 

The blue-eyed star of films like Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid had died at home on Friday surrounded by family and close friends, said Jeff Sanderson.

I met him once while he was filming a movie in my home town. A great actor and a great man.

Yes, the news came as a bit of a shock to me as well.. He was as descent, caring, and honest, and down-to-earth human being as anyone could have hoped for, and did a great deal of good for charity's sake. I still can't believe he's gone. Long live his passion and his inspiration; his indomitable spirit and true grit.
