talk about bullshit hype. i cant believe america is about to elect a socialist as president. his policies are going to be a disaster on the economy and fighting terrorism.

From boortz.com

A note to voters. For a slim chance that Obama can be defeated:

1.Don't even think you're going to change the minds of black Americans on this one. They're going to vote for Obama .. and that is that. So, what else is new? Black America has been in the tank for Democrats for quite some time now.

2.A lot of voters are going to have to get a lot more familiar with Barack Obama. There going to have to realize that he is a man with limited experience – very limited – who has wonderful oratorical skills and not much else.

3.Since most Americans work for small businesses – owned by the very people being target by Barack Obama for tax increases – they're going to have to realize that voting for The Chosen One might actually put their job in jeopardy. See my advice to small business owners below.

4. Voters will have to ask themselves whether they are voting for a candidate they truly know and understand, or if they are merely following the MoveOn-Media-led herd off the cliff.

5. Voters are going to have to see through is lies and half-truths. His latest effort to lead voters astray is his statement that 95% of privately-owned businesses don't earn $250,000 a year. While that statistic may be right, it is completely meaningless. If you understand that, you won't vote for Obama. If you don't, you will.

6. Additionally, voters will have to realize that in the end businesses – and that means all businesses – don't pay taxes. The collect the taxes from their customers and pass them on to the government. Sometimes they collect the money needed to pay taxes from their employees, by firing them and keeping all of the money, or by denying them their next pay increase.

7. Obama-bots are going to have to suddenly realize that character does count for something, and hanging around with unrepentant terrorists, America-hating preachers, corrupt politicians and crooks does say something about one's character.

8. They'll have to understand that Michelle Obama meant it when she said

that she was never proud of the USA until her husband became a front-runner for the Democrat convention.

9. More voters will have to realize that America is great because of the

dynamic of a free people working together in economic freedom with a basic set of rights guaranteed under a constitution establishing a rule of law, not because of government. McCain understands this. Obama doesn't.

10. They'll have to understand that government is force. Chose carefully those to whom you would give control over the police power of government.

11. Maybe seeing that Argentina has just seized all private pension plans might wake some people up. Who knows?

12. Speaking of corruption ... voters will have to understand that Barack Obama has had many opportunities in his political life to take a stand against government corruption. Not ONCE has he ever stepped up to the plate.

There's much more, but you get the idea. Yeah, Obama could lose. But he has the media totally in the tank for him ... and a government educated voting population poised to go to the polls. The odds aren't good.

Aww poor Republican's spitting the dummy out. Bless.

One of your points was actually "his wife isn't patriotic" if that is your argument for why someone shouldn't be president then you are a disgrace. Speaking of "patriotism" this is amazing

God bless those racist god-fearing patriots

Obama has such high percentages all over the world, the only places people prefer McCain and Palin are Cuba, Iraq and some American states, does that tell you enough?

10. They'll have to understand that government is force. Chose carefully those to whom you would give control over the police power of government.

This is the key, and it's the reason both Republicans and Democrats simply can't be taken seriously. They both wave guns around, telling you what is right and wrong. Politics becomes like a team sport, and it's just a pointless swing between two evil parties.

I'm actually looking forward to it. I want the state to fill itself to glut, and for the country to finally realize once and for all that socialism, whether it come from Republicans or Democrats, is an evil, terrible thing.

Statists are the ones with the gun, not libertarians. I can't take anyone seriously who threatens to kill me.

Just throwing it out there that boortz isn't a republican, but a libertarian. and believe me he hates mccain as well, but he believes that the larger government that will accompany Obama's reign in office offers worse rammifications for the nation in the long run, and frankly I agree.

Well you're probably right, but I see increases in spending under McCain, too. Probably on the military/Pentagon budget. McCain even voted for that $700 billion bailout bill, just like Obama.

So there's really very little substantive difference between the two.

What's remarkable is when either party claims to have moral superiority. "We've got to give money to the unemployed/little old ladies/people with disabilities. That's moral."

Well, no, it's not. Because if it were moral, you wouldn't need a gun and the power of the government to take our money. We would do it voluntarily.

Then the Republicans freak out about terrorism like it's the end of the world. Terrorists have killed fewer people since 9/11 than have died in wars overseas. And don't get me started on the 50,000 people killed a year in car accidents! Terrorism is frankly a minor nuisance.

so your great alternative is to pick an erratic and senile 72 yr old whose judgement is quite questionable, and is a cancer survivor. Who has a significant chance of dying while in office to be replaced by a woman who said this

"hat’s why I say, I like ever American I’m speaking with were ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the tax payers looking to bailout.

But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Helping the — Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. Shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americas. A

And trade we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive scary thing. But 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. ALl those things under the umbrella of job creation.

This bailout is a part of that."

we have had socialism here in the US for years and nobody seems to realize this...."Obama is a socialist!!" newsflash, anyone who uses social security is a socialist

Of course, any arbitrary redistribution of capital by force is socialist.

But to say that people who "use social security" are socialists is a bit misleading. Americans are forced to contribute to it because it's taken from their payroll taxes. If you don't pay in, then you could go to jail. And if you don't go to jail peacefully, they'll shoot you.

We're just prisoners of the state.
