Ok so we have just recieved news of the Lovers in Japan single release on the 4th November. We are also recieving a Lost! Ep on the 10th. That now makes four singles that have been released off Viva La Vida since June. My question is: What do you think the 5th single will be, if they have one at all. Will it be another album track or will they release a song off the new Prospekt's March EP. Post your thoughts here.

As much as I'd love to hear 42 on the radio, I really doubt there will be 5 singles. It's generally been four per album with the exception of X&Y which was only a limited edition release.

i think they will do something with it, there is so much hype around it

i think the song is like a clocks mixed with Viva sound

STRAWBERRY SWING as a single please! It would be perfect as the final single off the album in February.

I would enjoy Strawberry Swing or 42 as a single but I can't see it happening. More than likely there will be a single off the new Ep and I hope it is life in technicolor ii.

If they're going to release anything off of the album as a 5th single it would be 42. Nothing else. But I doubt they're going to release any more at this point. And I really can't see them releasing a single off of the EP. Lovers In Japan is kind of promoting both at this point because it's the Osaka Sun Mix (which is on Prospekt's March)...but if they do go with a new song, it'll obviously be Glass of Water. I just don't see much happening anymore...

It's unlikely but LIT w/lyrics was referred to as the "obvious single"...

I'd like either Yes or Strawberry Swing to be released but I think the next single will be something from Prospekt's March.

No idea what they have in mind, but STRAWBERRY SWING would make an awesome single! :nice: And I agree with whoever said it would be the perfect thing for coping with the winter in February.

Is "Glass of Water" really that good? I haven't heard a proper version of it other than a 40 sec or so live video of it.
