I just finished and sent my ones.... here's a pic.... I used my own photos on them...

The top photo is the Royal Pavilion in Brighton (my hometown) and then the pic below is obviously the London underground, cause for uni I live near London.

 

The other postcard has my own photographs, and I'll let you work it out what they 'mean'. :nice:

No, I actually took the underground photo nearly 2 years ago, with my mobile phone camera and no flash! :o

Yeah, they get angry about it, apparently it's because they drive through the dark and out into the light and the flash could hurt their eyes or something :/

I had the most amazing seats at Coldplay (well, apart from the huge man stood right in front of my "Guy-line" :veryangry2:) and didn't get a single shot. Everything came out blurry - even when Jonny was stood 5 ft in front of me :cry:

Postcards from far away

 

Is there any possible away to extend the due date on postcards for this project? My card is nearly finished but I guess its too late to send it now. Its sad that I've allowed myself to be so unorganized and busy, but its the truth. There arn't any words to describe my love for COLDPLAY, and thats straight from my heart/thats all

i sent mine yesterday (the 22nd)! bought it at a store though... a picture of a waterfall down the street from my house (i live in a backwoods touristy place)

i didn't take pictures and i don't quite remember exactly what i wrote, but i just wrote as i thought, no drafts, cause i thought that'd mean more to show them exactly how i think of them... very highly!! i do remember the last line being 'thank you for making my glass HALF FULL.' :)

i sent it with a 1.60 stamp... that was my only option, because the superfast mail service, i don't remember what it was called-- was something insane like 45 DOLLARS for one postcard. 'i love you, coldplay, but i only have a 20 in my wallet'. :P hopefully it will get there on time, i don't know.

Yeah, I did!! :D

 

I stood in the front row, right in front of Jonny at the concert in Rotterdam. At the end of Yellow Jon walked towards me, and I thought "ahh he's going to give away his pick" so I was like waving my arms or something hihi, me me! :D And he looked at me and threw it in my direction!! :D

(It fell on the ground in front of the gate, where all these butterflies were lying on the ground, so you almost couldn't see it. I was hanging over the gate and shouting at the stupid security man who couldn't see the thing, like "THERE, OVER THERE!! UNDER THE YELLOW BUTTERFLY...THE YELLOW ONE!! THEHEEEEEERE!!!!" :angel:

Eventually the security guy saw it and grabbed it, and I was like "I WANT IT! HE TREW IT AT ME!!" Because suddenly there were all other girls next to me who wanted it too, but the security guy gave it to me. Pfew! :lol:

 

 

Oh and from the secret gig in Amsterdam where I was I got a pick from Chris' LoversInJapan/VivaLaVida/keyboard-thing :P:cool:

Where are you from?!

 

I've written in the other thread about the postcards, that people in Europe are probably safe, when they end up sending their postcards later, as the postal way isn't that long.

 

We only know that the cards should be delivered in early January, but it could also be mid January. So just send it asap and maybe you'll make it in time :)

GUYS, All your postcards are lovely, I have been following carefully the thread and I just wanted to recognize of all your. I thikn they will love this whole project...
