Thanks so much guys for your thoughts :) I didn't get a chance today, so I think I'd better book a hotel for the saturday night tomorrow if I can. Anyone got any hot tips? I may be driving Mich or maybe train...not sure yet...why do you ask? At least if I drive I can keep things flexible, even drive home that night if I have to (though it'll be a sober gig for me, grrr :inquisitive:)

Coldplay (pictured) are appearing at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in September. The quartet got their big break in 2000 with their single, Yellow, which was followed by the Mercury Prize nominated album, Parachutes. Manchester central man, you have the public transport options such as train and tram, and also after the gig if its a nice walk, its a 30 minute walk there which many patrons will take. Best place.
