CHris why don't you call up your best buddy Jigga to see if he can give you a few rap lessons!!

Ian I can still clearly remember looking down the barrier at you when they asked us to "put our diamonds in the air" - you looked a lot like this - :whaaat:

Jigga what?

Jigga who?

Chris Martin gave me the flu .

:laugh4:

By the way there's a typically scathing review of this gig in the weeks NME :dozey:

I have always respected those guys :nice:.

really? what's the gist?

That it was a mistake to get Jay-Z to open for them as he was better (it's entitled Viva La Hova :dozey:)

The costumes are ridiculous, the balloons are butterflies are soppy, the mass sing-a-longs don't make up for the fact that their songs are "debilitating to the soul" and that it felt more like watching an episode of Songs of Praise. Billie Jean was rubbish.

It concludes saying:

"If even in the credit crunch, the average listener still values live music as an essential pleasure, no matter what the support, well we can take comfort in that - even if we do have to sit through Coldplay to do so"

:o

Ok that is 'effin horrible!! Bastards

I know, I should've known better than to pick it up when I saw it lying there.

I got told to fuck off by a former NME journalist on Twitter the other night - he was watching The South Bank Show just to criticise them and I suggested he might use his time more productively

Typical British cynicism... can't the press just be happy that one of the biggest bands in the world is British? Do they want the radio to be full of American rock like it was back in the day with Nirvana & Pearl Jam and every copycat band that came along after them?

So he told you to Fuck off?

Wow, there's an indication of the spectacular way with words that most NME "journalists" have. :dozey:

Well he did it in an amusing way... we had a couple of back-and-forth tweets and then I told him to try looking for the Off button on his TV, he responded "I'm looking for the fuck off button"

But he wimped out by replacing the "uck" with symbols!

I know I've not watched Songs of Praise in a while, but its surely never jazzed up that much :o

Is like me with Katie Brand.

Although Simon Pegg tweeted me back the other day and I was ridiculously happy  :embarassed:

Oh My God... that's even better than meeting Chris, I love Mr. Pegg!

I mentioned seeing him at Wembers on Friday and said he looked a little nervous...and replied with 'it's impossible to be nervous after drinking that much red wine"

:cheesy:

I don't remember tweeting you or drinking red wine?? ........................
