I've got a question about the glowsticks:

Julia and I are coming over from Germany with a plane. As far as I know, there have certain terms about taking fluids on a plane (we have only hand luggage). So now I ask you is it allowed to take 100 glowsticks within a plane? Or is it against the law? I have no idea because that's my first time I fly... :uhoh:

not sure, but you could always UK order them to your hotel address before you travel, saves on baggage? :bulb:

^ hm, I'll think about that...

I am pretty sure you can't take them on the inside of the plane, I am putting them with my luggage underneath, and triple packaged in case they bust open, hopefully they won't.

^ Fingers crossed!

Just to let you know, I got my tickets this today.

I ordered them from SeeTickets back in November and they arrived this morning.

Viva La Postman.

I'm so excited. I'd love to get a glowstick :s. My entrance is f-g so will anyone with free glowsticks be in that queue?

Hay anybody outside the UK got their tickets from ticketline?

any news on ticketmaster? anyones tickets arrived from them?

p.s watching football on itv looking at wembley and I no it will all happen in two weeks time!

nope :dozey::confused:

No not yet, but on the website of ticketline it is said that they despached the standing tickets yesterday.

http://www.ticketline.co.uk/ticket-despatch-tickets

I'm also waiting for them now, but if the information is right, they should arrive within next week.

Dark_Sofie: When I called to Ticketline yesterday they said that they haven't sent the tickets outside UK at all. That the "WEMBLEY 18th/19th Sept - all standing tickets were despatched 04/09/09" on their website ment only the ones inside UK. And they're not gonna send them outside UK I think.

It's just this post that worries me a bit...

oh I didn't see that. Thanks though.

SHIT, CRAP!!!

:D I'll be waiting until Thursday or Friday. Somehow we'll get our tickets

hopefully...

i got my tickets today...the coldplay fever has offically kicked in!!!

I was watching that game too and I got totally over exited! Wembley sure is huge! :shocked2: I couldn't find any glow sticks anywhere, but I am atleast buying a finnish flag for wembley :P still going to glowstick hunt some other day tho..I'm worried about the plane thing too if I find them..we only have hand luggage too so

So maybe we really have to call the flight company with which we fly and ask them about the glow sticks.

I really don't think you have to worry about glowsticks in luggage, especially if you leave in the package you bought them, so it can easily be identified as what it is. But, of course, feel free to call airlines to double check.

I have a question, though, about bringing flags, banners, signs. Are those things allowed in Wembley? Anyone who went to the recent U2 show have any info? CoughDAVEcough...

The first batch of my tickets arrived today, they're really nice :)

I was very glad they showed up, as I couldn't remember where I'd ordered them from :P There are six more to come from somewhere else, but they aren't as important, they're only for relatives and friends :laugh3:

im pritty sure u are allowed flags...im not sure about banners but i think they dont like it becos of the fact it stops people for seeing at times...no harm in bringing a flag tho!

batch? how many did you order?? :o

Um, well I've received four already. And there are six more due to arrive from somewhere else for relatives and friends (that is, other relatives and other friends - those other than the four people I already have tickets in hand for).

They may come in one batch or two. I can't remember how I did all the ordering :laugh3: But these ones showed up alright, so I reckon I'll put my feet up, put on Prospakt's March, and wait for the taps on the door while I drink my tea! :P
