why does Facebook has to be related just to American people/US Citizens? (i guess you mean just North-America, America is a huge continent).

we do have at least another 2 thread about facebook here, why does people hardly ever uses the search option before opening a thread that already exists?

anyways back on topic:

I do have one.

Btw DaniGirl i think that hi5 is more popular in Portugal than on any other country.

I have it, but I don't use it. I would, but none of my friends use it.

And just because we already have a topic about Facebook doesn't mean we can't have a new one. Maybe we want to discuss it again without bringing up an old, dusty topic?

I have facebook and prefer to it to MySpace.

I had a myspace account that got hacked and sent out this really dreadful link to everyone on my contact list!

I don't use mine :disappointed:

Hi5 all the way :P

Does anyone have hi5 here?

Isn't that a kids TV Show???

But i have a facebook :D

i would say something like 90% of americans under 25 have facebook. that's a total guess, but it's so ridiculously popular here that if you DON'T have it, you're really weird  (no offense to those americans on here that don't have it--this is just in my experience).

i've had it for something like 3 years now. i first joined up when they started allowing highschoolers on (it used to be strictly for college/uni students). now they just let anyone on, which is interesting. you used to have to be invited by someone in your same school's network, and there didn't used to be any apps or anything. ahh, the good old days :P

funny thing is, i know one of the original guys that started it up. not mark zuckerberg, but his best friend who helped him with it. he's my friend's older brother :D

My Space is not very popular here. I think only bands use it. I know Hi5, but not on it.

We also have Hyves, anyone knows that? It's very popular in the Netherlands.

Actually this is the first time I heard about it. Most of friens here use myspace or others.

Isn't that some kind of fruit drink??

Hi C i think is.

Myspave doesn't work for me anymore!, it's really wierd, everytime i sign in it freezes! :(

I used to... It's actually VERY popular here... but I closed my account. Maybe I'll re-open it one day but I don't really think so.

No facecrap for me,i have myspace.but i lost interest in that years ago.

Facebook > MySpace

I am. I had a myspace account only because some of my friends were on it. But when I entered college, I graduated to facebook. I like it, it's less spammy, has cooler features, more mature in a way.

Never had MySpace, I prefer Facebook for the qualities listed above.

It was becoming more like MySpace when applications appear, but THANK GOD the new Facebook version came up so all that application crap is hidden in the back of people's profiles.

I joined FB in 2005 when it still was exclusive to US college students, and more prmitive (no pics to upload, no application, no status, no global groups, etc).

Once it became open for everyone, it pretty much exploded, especially this year.

Lord, was Pandora's box opened? This year I was found by old classmates and friends from Venezuela (I moved to the States in 2003, when I was 16). I thought I would never hear from these people again. Some I'm glad I'm in touch with them now, others not so much.

I actually befriended most of these people, found out about their lives, but then deleted them because I didn't really liked them before so what's the point of keeping them :P

IN CONCLUSION, MySpace is still more popular in the U.S.

i would say something like 90% of americans under 25 have facebook. that's a total guess, but it's so ridiculously popular here that if you DON'T have it, you're really weird  (no offense to those americans on here that don't have it--this is just in my experience).
