Coldplay Article in new Rolling Stone today! (Dec 1st)

Featured Replies

In the newest issue of Rolling Stone, December 1st 2008, there is a small article about Coldplay!! :DIt's located on page 17 and has an awesome picture of Chris and Jonny! The article made my day today, I thought you guys would want to make sure you saw it if you have the magazine cause sometimes this things get missed. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it:( I would also like to point out the horrible review Rolling Stone gave Prospekt's March! They only gave it two and half stars and said that the only good song was lost+. Can you believe that?!

It's called On the Road with Coldplay and it just talks about the band getting ready before they perform and it talks about how they want to get a lot done now and how the whole get it all done before we're 33 thing got blown way out of proportion. I think that was pretty much it...

is this the one with britney on the cover???????????????

Yeah that's the review but not the artical..i'm trying to work on scans guys....

Thanks :D

Yeah it's the one with Brittany on the cover, page 17

yay! i am buying that one tomorrow when i get her cd. fantastic!

WTH? what;s the point of having a frickin' subscription, if you're the last to know about things like this...and if they're gonna bash a frickin' brilliant EP?!?!?!

Yeah, I posted the review yesterday, missed the article though...

Fucking 2 1/2 stars... *mutters angrily*

it's weird that they'd give it that kinda review, when previously this year they've had positive stuff about Coldplay...even a big article with Chris....I guess Prospekt's March just landed on the wrong lap for review...somebody having a bad day, or just bad taste.

Yeah I don't understand the review either...they loved Viva la Vida but hate Prospekt's March? And seriously...lost+ being the best?? Wtf? I started laughing when I read that, and then I got really pissed cause it's so untrue. Hopefully know one listens to it. Rolling Stone can be so dumb sometimes, this reminds me of something they did awhile ago with a Weezer album, they gave it a horrible review and then many years later put the same album on the list of best 100 albums of the decade or something like that...RS will be sorry, Coldplay is amazing!! And so is Prospekt's March.

I can't get any pix of the article, sorry guys, I tried.

subscribers ALWAYS get it last

my subscription is my mom's and goes to my house, though, so i just buy them off the stand when i'm at uni :P. i'll see if i can get this one tomorrow.

In case you guys haven't figured this out by now, the Rolling Stone is full of shit. The only thing their magazines good for are its pretty pictures. I cut up a few for a collage I made. Took some Fleet Foxes, some Chris, a little bit of Vampire Weekend...yup.

Bump. Did anyone get this? :idea2:

CHELSEA!

Okay

Prospekt's March EP

RS: 2.5of 5 Stars Average User Rating: 4.5of 5 Stars

2008

This EP collects recordings from the sessions for Viva la Vida, Coldplay's most sonically tricked-out record, but the new songs feel too conservative after Viva's world-music-laden sprawl. Though "Rainy Day" finds Chris Martin crooning brightly over strings and swelling electronics, the swooning "Glass of Water" feels heavy-handed, and the atmospheric "Prospekt's March/Poppyfields" suffers from imagistic lyrics about "people talking without speaking." Fans should download "Lost+" — featuring a great Jay-Z cameo — and skip the rest.
