February 9, 200917 yr I DID see Gwyneth wink. I don't understand that whole dynamic with them. They're married with two kids, but you never see them together. I don't even think she sat with Chris last night after she introduced Radiohead. I guess it's classier than them wearing each other's blood in vials around their necks or hanging all over one another in public, but I just makes me wonder sometimes.

February 9, 200917 yr Album of the Year Coldplay not getting Album Of The Year sucked. Proof positive that those voting have not a great ear for music. Coldplay lead the others by warp years in my opinion. Who am I? Just a 56 year old that has seen the birth of most current music on today's market- blues, rock,jazz,country,alternative rock, new age, etc.,etc., Am I an expert? No! But to me, I am ! Coldplay has many, many great years ahead as long as they hold themselves together. If the music doesn't convince you, just one concert will. Coldplay needs not a Grammy award to solidify itself. Period. They rock baby. :)

February 9, 200917 yr Yeah I was a little disappointed that they didn't get Album of the Year. I was sure they would win it (or if not them, maybe Lil' Wayne). Did anyone hear the crowd as the winners went up to give their speech? Massive confusion over what was just announced :P Anyway I'm still overjoyed that they won three :dance:

Have you guys seen Chris' blue eyes?? They shine even more now. And they all looked so bloody cute in them :love: The perfomance was fanatastic too. Although I actually don't like the alternate Lost version so much, I liked it here...! And then Viva La Vida, yeeeeah! Great voice, great dancing... no perfect dancing :lol: Look! The guy beneath must be thinking... "Whoa, I wanna can jump like that too." :laugh3: Phil was so happy for them too. I hope he got his beer afterwards :D

February 9, 200917 yr Hey fellow Coldplay fans! I had to DVR the Grammy's last night due to a recording sesson with my brass quintet, but I rushed home and watched it! I'll say this, I mostly fast-forwarded through a lot of it. The only peformances I watched all the way through were.....naturally, Coldplay! :cool: and Radiohead's and Paul McCartney's. Yay for the 3 Grammys Coldplay won, but BOO to the 2 they SHOULD have won hands down (Album of the Year and Record of the Year). They should've won and if they didn't, there were two other artists who "could've" won the award, but Alison Krauss/Robert Plant?! WTF?! I've never even heard anything about their album, so I was dumbfounded, to say the least. Coldplay rocked their performance, though! They were supremely awesome and I LOVED their new costumes! Gah, I'm so EXCITED to go see them live in July!!!!

It hasn't been on ANYone's 'best of' or Top 10 lists, not on the radio (and my wife listens to ALOT of country music), nothing on iTunes, I haven't seen it in ANY magazine or any promotion for it. It's like the Grammys made this album up! Not even the audience had heard this album! they all left when their win was announced!
