At least Radiohead didn't use any pre-recorded music during their Grammy performance. 15 Step was utterly brilliant compared to another canned version of Viva La Vida. Plus if it weren't for Radiohead, there wouldn't be a Coldplay (Chris has said so himself about 100 times), so she should be more than happy to introduce them.

February 10, 200917 yr I thought Coldplays performance was very underwelming, I was so looking forward to seeing them perform aswell. The best bit was Chris and Jay-z, then it was pants. It was just plain old boring compaired to some of the other performances. I don't like Radiohead but I even enjoyed there performance more than Coldplays. The God of music, Paul McCartney, he was fab as always!!!!

February 10, 200917 yr I know this may seem a little sad and pathetic to some people, but when I watch these awards shows, I often look out for any coldplay members whenever the camera is on the crowd or something, well no trouble at the grammys!!!! The jackets stood out like nothing else!!! You could see where they were sat from a mile away when everyone else just melted into the background! Made me laugh!!! In a good way that is.

But The Beatles did it, Adam and the Ants did it, Slipknot does it, The Clash did it. But Coldplay is the only one who gets shit for it!

While accepting one of the skrillion Grammys that Coldplay nabbed, Chris Martin said, “We’re not, of course, the heaviest of rock bands, you may have noticed. We’re kind of the limestone of rock bands. Not as hard, but still charming.” Gotta love the Brits and their self-deprecating “humour,” but c’mon-limestone isn’t exactly granite or anything, but isn’t it used in the construction of buildings? If Martin is going to try to be all cute and self-effacing, he should go all out: if he wants to compare his band to a soft rock, he should really reference the softest rock known to man. But what rock would that be? Because my science schoolin’ ended in the 10th grade, I turned to the Reston-based U.S. Geological Survey, our country’s foremost authority on minerals and rocks, and asked for help. I initially thought Coldplay should be compared to talc, not only because talc is extremely soft, but because I like the idea of comparing the band to one of the essential ingredients in baby powder. But it turns out that talc is a mineral, not a rock, according to Kate Johnson, program coordinator of the USGS Mineral Resources Program.
