Tut, why can't you work through a power cut? Can't you learn from books and candle light anymore! :(

Whats gonna be next, unhinged door day...OH NO! Its a safety hazard...

Does this mean we're likely to get another extended blog from Simon??:dozey:

Why is the UK so bad at dealing with a bit of snow?, the rest of Europe is fine but a bit of snowfall here and it's like the worlds going to end, we can't even deal with leaves on railway lines.

I love or hate power cuts. I get them like every second time it storms out here because I live in the bush and tree fall on the lines and such. You get used to it.

And what about the roos jumping on the lines??

No, I don't believe they jump that far. They hope around my back yard all the time though.

And what exactly are they hoping for??

Tennessee gets about one day of snow a year, but when a meteorologist forecasts snow, people freak out, roads get salted, all the schools close, some people even put snow tires on their cars when the worst we'll get is a half-inch of snow.

Exercise

So why on earth are they hoping for that?? Don't they have anything better to wish for??

Because the Uk hardly gets any snow?

Even though it seems to be the same with hot weather.

And excessive wet and windy weather too. In fact, just about every weather condition you could think of!!:P

You get this kind of weather all the time depending on where you live.

In which case people should be prepared for it and it shouldn't cause such problems!!:dozey:

What about all the floods?? They seem to keep happening in the same places even though the government is now aware of the problems!
