OK all my Geeky Coldplayers, my laptop could not be saved by Dr. Techno so now i have to buy a new one. I had a Compaq , ok but not great. I want to be able to create stuff too, not just my Real Estate work stuff, shopping and chattin away here. Help me. I'm melting in a sea off old compter in the basement hell

Well, I have a macbook. Its great I love it, and Apple's are really easy to use. But coming from a PC it might take a little bit to get used to the different features and things like that. But I hear Dell notebooks are pretty good, if you want to stay with a PC.

Ya I had always used a PC, but then my parents got me a macbook and I love it. But ya stick with the PC, but my friend has that Dell and she loves it. My parents also have IBM Think Pads those are pretty good too.

mine is ill now :cry: so i don't know if advice you the one i have now. :thinking:

 

next one i'll buy will surelly be an AMD one and for sure i'll run with only ubuntu then :D

They're terrible, they're not good performance-wise, they break down easy and are rather slow. Not fun if you're notorious for beating the shit out of a computer like me :P

I truly am one lucky girl. I bought my laptop at COSTCO a year an a half ago. because i bought it there, they are fixing it for free or giving me a new one!!!! i get it tomorrow with fed ex!!!! Coldplay Karma strikes again because my Laptop knew i needed to be back with you all!!! now if it could just get me to Wembley!! hey anything is possible. my posting stats are way down since it has been gone

For all it's faults, my old Toshiba laptop designed for windows 98, is still going strong ;)

 

I prefer desktops as they are easier to work on ;)
