given that she has serious problems with her spine, i can understand. plus, she kicks ass so ...

Well the "helicopter" comment was still uncalled for and didn't do her a lot of good, especially as one year earlier she had become a fans' favourite after winning the mixed doubles with Jamie Murray.;)

Maybe it was uncalled for, but at least she, or any other tennis player, or sportsman trying their hardest in what they do (despite health problems) have more rights to bitch about stuff like this, unlike for example actors, singers and fake stars like Paris Hilton. And if people are to judge their favorites by what they say and act like, Federer should be the most hated tennis player, cause he seems arrogant. But he kicks ass in tennis, so that's what matters. I don't give a shit about what they said, or what is written in the press ;)

A lot of harsh opinions flying around this board. To say that Nadal won five majors and is ranked #1 because he is "All muscle, no talent." Is just ridiculous. He and Federer and both unbelievably talented players. I also don't get what seems so arrogant about Federer. Considering what he's accomplished, I would've expected him to show a whole lot more ego than he does.

Simon and Tsonga in the final quarter  but Simon will play against Nadal next round... :dozey:

Just remember that Tsonga defeated Nadal last year in Semis.

I'd go for Tsonga there.

Besides, I think it's all planned, see:

Roddick vs Djokovic

If Djokovic wins, and the Fed too, they meet in semifinals, just like in 2008.

If Tsonga wins, and Nadal too, they meet in semis, just like last year's Aussie.

OMG, sounds kinda lame, but that's what i think :/

Also, note that everytime they put the draws, Fed is at the bottom, and Nadal is up.

I enjoyed the Murray match, upsets are always fun. Still a little disappointed Federer wasn't knocked out sooner, but what can you do? Maybe that muscle-head (as a couple of you like to think of him as) Nadal will bonk him in the head with a 220kph serve.
