February 2, 200917 yr I didn't bet anything on this game. Although I did win something in a fantasy pool because the score was over 44 points.
February 2, 200917 yr Author Funny how after the emotional rollercoaster of last night, that now I can't come up with much to say about it. Most of it is self explanatory or doesn't need to be said. I was extremely upset by the note it ended on. That was not a fumble at the end, it was clearly an incomplete pass like earlier. Arizona should've had one more shot at the endzone, which, knowing the previous drive, could've made the difference. There was also a Pittsburgh defensive player who should've been kicked out of the game in the 4th quarter considering the inexcusable way he attacked an Arizona player while he was on the ground. Things like that just adds so much more spite to the aftermath. More reason to begrudge a team you already hate.
February 2, 200917 yr Yeah, that was ridiculous that Harrison didn't get kicked out. I think that if he didn't do that he could have won MVP.
February 2, 200917 yr Yeah, not very classy. I mean I can see how a player could get frustrated if they were being blown out of the water. But at no point in the game was either team completely out. And he is very lucky that he didn't get kicked out of the game. You can really screw yourself over by taking dumb penalties in football.
February 2, 200917 yr Yeah, that was ridiculous that Harrison didn't get kicked out. I think that if he didn't do that he could have won MVP. I, as a Cardinals fan, am not bitter about missed calls, wrong penalties, or lack or a final replay. The one and only thing I look back in shame is how Harrison was allowed to remain in that game. A player can punch another player then shove him several times after the whistle and get a 15-yard penalty. And then Wes Welker of the Patriots grabs a touchdown catch and makes a snow angle to celebrate, and gets fined $10,000. Pathetic
February 2, 200917 yr One of the most frustrating thing about officiating in sports is lack of consistency. But yeah, pretty pathetic that Wes Welker got that fine at Christmas for a harmless thing, while Harrison goes berserk and remains in the game.
July 4, 200916 yr Author holy crap! They just had breaking news that Steve Mcnair was found shot to death.
September 10, 200916 yr Author Regular season kicks off tonight with MAH Titans playing our rivals (and incidental super bowl champions) the Steelers. Anyone psyched?
September 10, 200916 yr Ooh, a NFL thread. I'd just like to say... THE EAGLES SUCK. SHAME ON THEM. GO PATS!:D!
September 10, 200916 yr Author I am, although I hate the Titans (sorry) None taken, who do you support? I know you're a red wings fan but surely you don't the perseverance and will power to stay with the lions...
September 10, 200916 yr I was a Bears fan before I was a Red Wings fan, I don't see the need to stick to certain cities as I have no relation to any of them. JAY CUTLER, I am excited to see some offense this season

September 15, 200916 yr Ooh, a NFL thread. I'd just like to say... GO PATS!:D! Yeah! Go Patriots!!!! They won today!:D
September 15, 200916 yr Author I was pissed off yesterday because during the fifth set of the US Open three girls in patriot's jerseys walked in and kept wanting to change the channel. It ended up being that I was the minority in thinking that the last set of the US Open Final is a hundred fucking times more important than the first quarter of the opening pats game, and I had to keep arguing to keep the channel where it was. :dozey:
September 15, 200916 yr Patriots fans should be killed. Also I am so annoyed at the Bears, we could have won that game but threw it away with a fucking STUPID play call by our long snapper and some terrible route running from our rookie receivers leading to interceptions.
September 20, 200916 yr The many faces of Jay Cutler: Normal: Dude, I'm like totally wasted: Chubby Teenager: Young Alec Baldwin:
September 20, 200916 yr Wow, Nathan is gay for Jay. I was pissed off yesterday because during the fifth set of the US Open three girls in patriot's jerseys walked in and kept wanting to change the channel. [/quote'] I wouldn't expect anything less from football fans! :laugh3:
September 25, 200916 yr How about Robbie Gould showing the Steelers who's boss Sunday!? That was quite an amazing game. Looking forward to Forte finally breaking out against the Seahawks on Sunday. I really think it's going to happen for him this week. And of course Jay will also make their defense look like a pee wee team.
September 25, 200916 yr Gould is an outstanding kicker, really underrated. I love Matt Forte, he is going to develop into a franchise player. He basically ran our entire offense last season, now that the weight isn't all on his shoulders he should do brilliantly. I love watching the Bears this season <3
September 25, 200916 yr I can actually root for Jay Cutler now that he's on the Bears. I hate the Broncos with a passion so I had to hate on him too, now I get to watch him play (and hopefully destroy) the Packers.
