Hi, I am selling a pair of tickets to the Coldplay Toronto show. (not for a profit, relax) Floor Sec B7 Row 25. $195 USD for the pair. That is exactly what I paid for them - face value plus ticketmaster charges.

 

I figured I would post them here to see if anyone was in need before selling elsewhere. I'd rather go through a good fan source like the board rather than giving ebay or stubhub more money.

You have to love this donk, not only is he scalping tickets but also ripping your city. LOL, can you be a bigger tool? I seriously hope on the way to Toronto your car crashes into a great big tree and the only Coldplay you hear is the musak playing in the intensive care unit. You seriously are a major league loser and I can't imagine your act goes over very well with others here too. Seriously, just kill yourself and make the world a much better place.

Regardless of whether or not someone may condone this type of "scalper activity", there is certainly no need at all to go around wishing death upon someone. It's understood that he's trying to sell tickets above face-value on eBay and that his sales posts are less than welcomed. It's unfavourable in our eyes as fans who would so much rather have the ticket, or atleast the opportunity to have gotten those tickets, but we live in an Internet age where this is sort of thing happens.

 

Don't get me wrong, I do not support scalpers jacking up prices to a true fan's expense. But to hope that someone inflicts death upon themself—that they kill themself? That's just a terrible, sick thing.

I never did start bashng Toronto, I am from Toronto if you can't tell. I am just saying it is lacking in many ways, and that we as Torontoians are very arrogant about our city. I have traveled across Canada and know that basically every other Canadian thinks we are arrogant. I have also traveleed to Chicago and New York and know they are very similar in their design and know they have done it much better. How can you say I am bashing the city when I am recommening bars and clubs to go to while your in Toronto to see the band.

 

Finally, about all this legal stuff. Ebay would now allow the tickets to be sold over a price which is deemed illegal. I believe it is 800 a ticket. My tickets are not going to reach that high so at no point is this illegal. About ethics, have you not realized that any idea of ethics was thrown out the window when the pre sale was created. The world is a malicious place and companies such as Live Nation, who now own TicketMaster, are just "money grabbing whores" - Chris Martin. So, as for all this bird shit in my face and stuff I could care less because I know I have my own reasons for doing this and not for the outright scamming of others.

I sold my GA Floors on e-bay and kept a pair to myself. I cannot justify spending 160 a ticket during the argo's pre-sale to see a band. So i bought an extra pair to offset some expenses. I understand that the Argo's had to be compensated somehow for switching the date of their game.... and I understand that there are pre-sales as well.

 

However, here is one thing i say to the "true fans" that purchased tickets during the General Onsale and who were disappointed with their seats. Why didn't you spend $10 bux on a pre-sale password that someone was posting on e-bay, or why didn't you take the time to read through the threads here and see that about 20 fans were helping out others with all the pre-sale passwords and links. You have to realize that looking for tickets 5 minutes after a pre-sale starts, won't cut it, especially during the free pre-sales. You have to be on the page refreshing it (not too many times) until you can purchase. As a true fan you should not have waited and "taken your chances" when you new for sure GA Floors were available to you during the argo's pre-sale and they were still there after 1 HOUR!!!!!. Why take the chance of spending 450 on floors on e-bay, when you could have spent 320.

 

Next time, instead of complaining that you didn't get floors, and consider yourself a "die hard fan" pony up and spend the extra money to go. If you were just looking for a single ticket, then pony up and buy 2 and sell your other for 200 bux, then you only would have been out 120 which surprise surprise is the face value.

You are right they did ask, and I did provide. But I never did bash the night life in the city. It is one of the better places in terms of that, I do enjoy living here just as much as everyone else. My negatives simply stream from politics and development if you haven't realized. If you can openly say David Miller has done well by this city or even Lastman your nuts. This city has been doing extremely poorly and it run by a bunch of idiots. The only point I had against anything other then that was the fact that we are arrogant people. We do believe we are better then the rest of Canada. I personally do agree with that and dont deny it. So stop getting defensive when I have said nothing to insult you.
