Thanks Caz Congrats, basically from what i know, it first come first serve, therefore if you arrive early your chances of being closer to the stage increases, some people in this forum are planning to wait at around 7 am that day, so it all depends on you, I believe the number on your ticket doesnt really mean where you stand, as you can stand anywhere you want in the GA, but acts as a count for how many people will be in the GA area fot ticketmaster, rogers centre, and Coldplay. i am sure others will provide you more info

Wouldn't that be a shame and a half? Who knows, there's only one way to tell and there's no harm in trying! Haha, which NHL players did you meet? Aww if only I knew I might be getting two GA tickets, I would have let you known from the start. Are you friends with the girl at least? I can't imagine going to an artists' concert whose music I don't listen to. I did that once for my sister and felt completely and awkwardly out of place.. Eh the girl i'm going with i guess we're kinda friends, but it's still going to be super awkward when we're going to be there, i mean wouldn't she not just feel like she's in the right place but that she wasted $120 to go see a band she doesn't like?:confused:. Today she asked me when the concert's going to end, I had no clue so i said pretty late I guess, and she asked me if it was around 10:00 because she can't come home too late. :stunned:wtf? :P hahaha anyways i don't care as long as i'm enjoying it:D
March 24, 200917 yr thanks for the info... what happens if you need to use the loo.... how do you get your spot back... I find all this really strange... must be my age!!!! as my daughter just said....lol... We are both short so hopefully we can see something without being in the front. We were at the concert last year at the ACC and had amazing seats. I just hope we made the right decision by getting the GA.
March 25, 200917 yr Well, all I can say is LINE UP EARLY. It seems to be the earlier you get there, the closer you can be to the front...but I would assume that even if you weren't right up front, you'd have a good view of the band/stage...I envy you with your tickets...enjoy the show!
March 25, 200917 yr Maybe it's just me, but I am not planning on being there so early, because I'm thinking that GA will be relatively small (in proportion to the Skydome) and therefore anywhere you are will be a good spot, plus, you can always squeeze in if need be. I am also not planning on lining up that early because I am driving down from Ottawa, and I am going with my sister who has 2 kids under 3 so she probably won't be able to get away until late afternoon. Whatever happens, GA will be worth it, even if you have to go to the bathroom and spend 15 minutes getting back to your spot! I saw Coldplay in Ottawa last year, and even though we had okay seats (first row of 300 levels, beside stage), I am looking forward to being in the pit with the REAL fans, so it doesn't matter to me where I end up!
March 25, 200917 yr That's very true, I think the capacity is 1000, which isn't a lot if 55,000 people can fit in the dome. But my sister and I are going to go a tad early; around early to mid afternoon! Can't wait to see other real Coldplay fans!! :)

March 25, 200917 yr Jeeeeeeeeeeesus. About time. ;o Doesn't really fix the entire problem though, we still have scalpers who buy 20 - 30 tickets and sell them on Ebay for four times the price. It is a start, though.

April 6, 200917 yr For people that live in Toronto We are staying at the Sheraton downtown. How far is the walk to the Roger's centre. Is it safe after the concert to walk back to the hotel
April 7, 200917 yr Don't do it. It's very dangerous. I heard a story once about a guy who was walking to Sheraton Downtown after a Coldplay concert, and these 4 midgets came and started eating him. They ate his ears and rubbed butter and jam on his body before putting a giant piece of bread on top of him and taking bites out of him, one by one. True story.
April 8, 200917 yr Toronto is 100% safe, considering how bad a rap areas of toronto have received over the years. Statistically Toronto is really one of the safer cities in Canada. True story, read it in some newspaper about a month ago. Cities like Thunder Bay are more then twice as dangerous.
