i wish i'd found out about this project earlier!

thats so cool! i watched the video and stuff..

could someone help me ? i reallyy want to send them a fan letter..

where did you guys send the postcards to?

it would be soo much appreciated if someone could send me the address.

thanks (:

It's far too late. You should have made a postcard before the end of last year and send it to Debbie that had an appointement with Coldplay at the beginning of this year in order to give them all Coldplayers' postcards. One never knows, maybe this project will start again this winter. I do hope it will. This is the postcard I've sent and that was eventually on their table, by chance.

if you're going to send them a message, i suggest doing it by e-mail.

i'm not sure what the address is, but the Oracle has posted it several times i think.

even if the postcards project is over, they still have this address to receive the fan mail

Q. Hello dear Oracle!

I want to send a letters to Coldplay via email and via snail address and I don't know what to do, because I found two addresses. Should i use this:

c/o PO Box 246

Cheadle

SK8 9AF

or this:

Coldplay

EMI Records UK

EMI House

43 Brook Green

London, W6 7EF

UK

I would be so so grateful if you answer.

Cheers! :)

The Oracle replies:

The first one, don't send to the record label as they'll only get re-directed eventually anyway.

Q. Dear Oracle,

I was disappointed with your handling of the young man from the UAE's request to send Coldplay a postcard. You suggested it is too late to send a the band a postcard. It certainly is not too late, it's more a question of 1. what's the address 2. will it be promptly thrown in the garbage by the support staff. Anyway, the point is that nothing is impossible. I'm surprised that you'd suggest otherwise...

The Oracle replies:

I tried to email you but it seems you used a false address... I'm afraid you have misunderstood. An address for sending regular mail can be found in our tags on this very Oracle section of the site.

But Yusef asked specifically about a project that ended in December!

That is what I replied to as you can be reminded of below. Sorry for confusion but of course anyone can write to the band although we prefer emails.

AWW! I loved this project!

I'm so glad i got to be a part of it!

I wonder if the guys will go back one day and look at all the postcards again..

i really wish i would have been here for this. that project was amazing! props to you guys. :D

Are we gonna do it again this year :surprised:?

( Yes I know it's still summer time )

I don't think we should, it was a one off. Doing it again would make it seem less special

I agree, Debs herself said it was a one off special and I think we should just be grateful and thankful that it happened at all.

I like to think that they still have the postcards in The Bakery somewhere :)

Yeah, it would be nice when they were near 60:)

maybe their kids could keep some to :D

That would be nice. I wish they could've made a longer video of the boys recieving the postcards. That or actually see what their reactions were when they actually read a postcard.
