I'm not going to play this game...

1) because I'm sure Debs has got better things to do with her time

2) I'd be heartbroken to find out it didn't get there

So I'm just going to think postive and assume it did arrive at the Bakery safely!

Hehehe, you think the same way as me. I am assuming it go there until told otherwise :D!!!

I'm not asking Debs if she can see it I'm asking anyone who has time to waste to find it

You are right Allison, and I didn't mean to ask Debs to waste her time on postcards related questions. I edited my post a bit..

i do the same thing!

i just imagine to my self that i saw it and it got there. :smug::P!

Too bad I didn't take a picture of my card! No way I'm going to find it in the screencaps, because it was white with a black text on the front saying:

"Mijn liefde is grenzeloos

net als de wind.."

(translation: my love is without borders, just like the wind..)

It looked a bit like this:

mooier-loesje.gif

but with the text I wrote above..

I didn't make it myself, but I'm in love with "Loesje". The texts on those cards usually tell how I feel in a great way :)

I collect those cards :)

Ah well, I suppose it did make it to London :)

That doesn't ring any bells....

I collected 3 more from PO Box today, 2 from one person in Mexico (sent 15th Dec) and one (posted way too late) from Canada.

Sorry I don't recall this one either....

I don't think it's possible for Debs to recall a couple of postcards out of so many sent.

I just hope all got there safe and sound.

-edit-

Hi Debs :nice:

Hi Debs :nice:

I think you saw so many postcards it's hard to recall every single one. Nevertheless I still hope it made it to the Bakery. :)

What happened with the postcards after the band read them? Just curious ;)

Ahh this is hardly fair on Debs.... she's done more than enough helping us out with this whole project, i don't think we should really expect her to remember and let us know about everysingle postcard she collected ;)

Thanxx Debs for letting us know on the rest of the postcards that made it!!! :nice:

Those 2 from Mexico took an awfully long time to get there

EDIT:

Hey hun!!!

Hey sweets! :nice:

You are right, Debs has done so much for us! Thanks a million for that!

I'm nobody's hun or sweet :bigcry:

:P

-edit- so it's not off-topic...

Well I didn't spot my postcard in the video, but mine wasn't THAT eye-catching to begin with :embarassed:

But you're Jonny's jaffa cake :D

:P

yep deffo

aww okay.. now I feel bad:embarassed:

I took that picture after handing it to the post office lady and then I screamed and said something along the lines of "I didn't take a picture. I need to take a picture" and she handed it back. Everybody was looking at me in a strange way.

Thanks for letting us know, Debs. Hey! Guess what? I got Coldplay tickets! They are almost to the back but who cares. I'm happy I'm gonna get to see them again :nice:

wow, debs, thanks for confirming for some people! i can't believe you're still sticking around with us crazies

if i was two degrees more neurotic i'd probably have asked if you'd seen mine, but you mentioned a george bush one in your big long report, and that was one of mine :P (unless someone else sent one in like that too :uhoh: )

if you're ever lurking again and have the time, i know a lot of us are curious as to where the cards are now :D

i think all of this has slowly been hitting me in small pieces. it also makes me kind of really happy that when ian and jen and the others spoke to phil at the warchild gig, we were refered to as "the ones who sent the postcards" :nice: :P

the best bit of that was that he didn't look scared or try to run away :laugh3: maybe it was the security of being a whole floor above us

I'm also a bit worried, that my postcards didn't arrive either. I sent them real early. They should have arrived on the first day when the mail box was set up. Maybe that was too early...?

It was a blue one with a sheet of music. And a yellow one from a town in the Black Forest...

If Debs is still reading, maybe she knows sth.

That was really nice of Debs to respond to some of your postcard wonders!!

:D :D :D

I just wish the postcards from far away song was longer so there could be more video footage to see! ;)

I am still in awe that we were able to make this project happen though.

It's awesome knowing that we were able to be a part of something so special and meaningful to the guys!

HELL YEAH!

Those are our postcards!

Indeed, I love kangaroo. It's cute. The picture is beautiful. I haven't seen it on the table though. Postcards make a blur, it's difficult to make them out.
