I think Vampire Weekend would kill my mother. :lol: She really likes Coldplay, most Beatles stuff with the exception of the really trippy and/or weird songs, The Killers, The Strokes (which I find really surprising), Keane, Beach House, and she loves Little Joy. She's heard a few Vampire Weekend songs and she likes those. There might be a few more, but she hasn't mentioned more than that as far as I know. What type of questions do you think are interesting to hear from bands (especially bands you don't know about)...like what sort of stuff would oyu want to know before checking them out? The one thing that sort of interests me is what their musical influences are. I've found that bands who list music I enjoy as influences are bands I usually end up liking, as would probably be expected.
June 23, 201016 yr Oh and as for what Briggins said about what is you like to hear about bands, I really like to be informed of if they use awesome instruments (eg accordion) or perform an an especially creative/nonstandad/interesting way (eg beatboxing flute or something)
