Like when the dental assistant ask me to be his friend on FB, and then he send me like 3 PMs asking me when I was online or for my phone to text me, and then I had to call the office to complain, and then the receptionist had to talk to him, and then I send him a direct rejection massage, and then I had these sudden spurs of paranoia, thinking he was going to stalk me or something (which sounds silly), and then I de-friended him, setting my privacy to the max (no finding in searches, only friends can see some personal stuff, pics/vids of me can only be seen by ME), and then I changed my mind about Facebook, which I now hate and think is an awful marketing scheme for companies to get your data in an attempt to sell you stuff. But she's a girl, so I don't think it is THAT weird

But for people like him (MySpace user, outgoing, etc), it seemed OK to befriend me on FB, thinking that it meant we could "hang out" (his quote) or be friends in real life. I might sound like a snob, but if you write like this "h r u?" We CANNOT be friends!!! On the third reply, I wrote, "Thanks, but I'm not interested in any relationship" Meaning I didn't want to be his friend, and much less date him Yuck, he is not my type AT ALL! Good thing he dropped it there. Imagine if I had to tell him why not. Nobody wants to hear stuff such as "I judge you by your poor grammar" or "You're not my type"
