I don't understand the fuss around those books/movies...

I've *tried* to read the first one and I gave up! It was as good as a fanfic to me and the characters really boring... Bella's thought could be resume by: 'OMG, he's soooo hoooot'... :dozey: and Edward by: '.....' :laugh3:

Maybe it's because I'm not a teenager anymore that I find these boring...but I think that Buffy was far better in term of second degre/romance.

That's Edward Cullins?

I thought they said he was 'Hot'.:\

No that's not him.... Edward is the one that's kinda in the moon background... I like the way his eyes look in that banner:wacky:

That dude hugging Bella is Jacob :shifty:

haha, I don't like it at all for that cover, I mean what's wrong with them. A dark background like it's at night with a "new moon" and bella sitting there like grieving with edward and jacob the way the pack is on this one (like tiny and far away) would have been perfect.

I agree... I just can't stand Jacob

believe me, he's really HOT!

Yeah he was gay, a famous artist I hadn't seen the trailer before, still deciding if whether or not seen the movie.

Ha! his accent's so funny, and his mustache is hilarious... but I read somewhere he did this film before "Twilight" so I guess he did not expect to be that noticed with that role... if anyone sees that movie, please let me know!:P

This seemingly minor blip of news is going to be very exciting for a lot of you readers. The third movie entry in the “Twilight” series, “Eclipse,” will shoot at Vancouver Film Studios between August 17 and October 31, ComingSoon reports. The David Slade-directed adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s novel will come from a script by series scribe (and occasional “Dexter” writer) Melissa Rosenberg.

The Halloween wrap is perfectly timed to coincide with what will likely be the start of a massive publicity push leading into the release of “New Moon” on November 20. “Eclipse” is currently set for a June 30, 2010 release, a fact which I’m sure that many of you readers are already well aware of. So mark those calendars if you haven’t already, and prepare for an increasing onslaught of “Eclipse” news as the wheels spin faster and faster.

And also here's Rob talking about "New Moon"

that's the trailer of a film, which is about the triangle that was: Luis Buñuel (spanish film director), Salvador Dalí (spanish painter) and Federico García Lorca (spanish poet), he roles one of those character, i don't remember which one.

They are interesting personalities, honestly i would like to had lived in that time when that school that introduce them all together was still running, those times seems were interesting to know, both for good and bad things.

anyways about the gay question? don't we are open about that thing now, so why to judge that?

----

back on topic about the film and not the actor.

can someone answer me the question of the title?, please yesterday i had an argue with a friend about that...

as can anybody convice me to watch that film?

what's the REAL big thing of that saga?

I guess he isnt too bad looking...:wacky:

I know!:wacky:

It's ok he plays a gay guy, it's just that I didn't think he would but I guess it was some sort of challenge or whatever to somehow prove that he's a good actor.

About the movies.... I am gonna watch "New Moon" cuz I wanna see the Volturi scene, but I can tell I'll be like  almost all movie long, if you don't watch it I'm sure you won't be missing much, but I hope this one's better than "Twilight"..... and well the big "thing" I guess is to see Bella becoming into a vampire... might be something else though.

Volturi scene? what's that? is related with vultures? (buitres)

so he turns the girl to be a vampire like him? ... classic stuff, the guy turns the good girl to the bad side.

btw do you all twilight fans, have read the saga before seeing the film or after that?

and you consider the film version is right with the book or not?.

because when i saw Da Vinci code after reading the book (5 years after the hype of it), i got disappointed of some scenes they cut on the film :\

The Volturi are these vampire "royalty" that live in Italy.. Edward goes there cuz he wants to be killed (long and cheesy nonesense story )... hahaha! well who'd not like to be like "forever" with the person you love, and I guess being a vampire might be good under Meyer's perspective.

I've read the 1st book after watching the movie, and read the rest already.... the "Twilight" movie sucks cuz they left some things outta the plot and changed some others and it kinda screw up some stuff (Like Jazz gift for example) but well, Rob's hawt maybe that's why I keep seeing the movie every now and then :P

ahh i understand the cheesy part, after all is a love story, so it will be cheesy. so it is anoter star-crossed story? ... classic.

well i'll watch the saga one day when all the popularity disappear ;)

what i don't know is if read the saga or not, cause it'll be disappointing :\ as they remove parts on the film version, book version is always better.

so let's be clear, everybody like the saga for the actor?

btw on the last pic posted here, he is too :wink3: that wild look :dead:

*calms down*

HAHAHAHA yeah pretty much... actually Edward quotes Romeo and Juliet in the book, for the odds and stuff, well I know in the movies always change some stuff, but I read the books to have some more info, but's totally up to you, and I guess that since you haven't read the books you wont get mad when you see they've screw up some nice part of the plot (If they have screw things up in New Moon anyways).

About your question ..... I watched the movie when it came out and I was like "whatever some other random/cheesy vampire movie" but my sister bought the book like a month after and I read it and fell for the saga :P and exactly after reading the book I started drooling at Rob (Yeah I know I'm kinda weird).

so no bad after all, you liked the character more than the actor. ;) that's not bad.

oh he even quotes it?

Yeah he kinda quotes Romeo!:P

*goes get the book* :escaping:

So in like the 2nd chapter Bella has to see "Romeo and Juliet" and he says that he'd do the same thing (about killing himself if she died) that's the first time and then almost at the end he says:

"The odds are always stacked against us. Mistake after mistake. I'll never criticize Romeo again."

HAHA!

You might not like them though, cuz it's true she's not such a great writer but still, I like the story not the way it's written, she also made some mistakes but well
