My girlfriend doesn't like Coldplay, only The Scientist and Clocks are "nice" songs.

I wish I could find a guy that liked Coldplay! Most guys I know say Coldplay is "trash", and go on to listen to Led Zeppelin :P But I know my dream guy is the one who loves Coldplay :D

my best mate has Coldplay songs as his ringtone at times...but he'd never admit to being a Coldplay fan. but then again, he'd never admit to being a fan of any band/singer. so whenever he showed me he had a Coldplay song as his ringtone, i guess that was like a nod of approval from him.

It was very hard, but I finally found one. We started talking a couple months ago & we ended up having tickets to the same Coldplay concert

I met someone who loved Coldplay as much as I do and I liked him for years, but he recently came out as being gay. We didn't go to see Coldplay together because he went with his ex-girlfriend, but we texting each other the entire day and during the show saying, "this is the best day of our lives" and " I can't believe this is happening." haha.

well me and my boyfriend had to do a project together for our creative writing class were we had to pick 10 songs and write what feel/think when we heard the song. so we got paired and i picked the song In my Place and he said "Oh u like coldplay 2" and i said yes so he picked a coldplay song for his soundtrack. and he finally asked me out and he toke me to the concert and 3 years and we're still going strong. mine is kinda of boring. o well! :)

My hubby and I both love coldplay, we went as far as to travelling to another country just to see them in concert, now how dedicated are we as fans lol :wink3:

My boyfriend and I are a Coldplay couple! We have been to three shows together and their music is such a big part of our lives. We started talking a few weeks before X&Y came out, and would always listen to the cd and discuss the music. It brought us closer together and we started dating a month later and have been together for a little over four years:) We had songs that reminded us of one another at the time (his for me was "What If" and mine for him was "Talk") Whenever I think about the beginning of our relationship, Coldplay comes to mind. Whenever I listen to X&Y, our relationship is always in the back of my mind. Needless to say, Coldplay has a special place in my heart just for that, although they have had such a profound impact on other aspects of my life as well!

 

So yeah, that's my little story! :D

Nice! I honestly don't think I could date someone who wasn't Coldplay-tolerant. I am respectful of people's likes and dislikes but that is just something I need in a boyfriend! hah.

Well, I've turned my husband into a Coldplay fan... does that count? I've loved them for years, but recently became the "O" word (obsessed). He went to two shows on the Twisted Logic Tour with me, but that was before I knew every word to every song and everything about each of the guys. This time around he went to two shows with me and we both had an amazing time. He's been very impressed with their musicianship and how each of the guys is a multi-instrumentalist. His favorite songs are Strawberry Swing, Lost! and Shiver. Coming from a guy who exclusively listened to classic rock when I met him, I consider this a major win! :D
