Must we forever be like the flamingos?:inquisitive: Shortness correlates with survival in a more northern climate, since shorter people loose less body heat, and conversely taller people do better in hot regions of the globe for the exact opposite reason. Also, while height has some advantages, it also makes the heart work harder to pump the blood all the way up and down the body. So, short people, on average, live longer. They may not be as good at slam dunks, but with longevity, they've got us beat!:laugh3:

I'm near 1,80 meters... I have a normal stature for my age I think, but sometimes wish I could grow a little taller in the future. About girls... it doesn't matter too much. It could be a midget but if you really love her, it's not supposed to matter that much. :P

Guys can do either way; some of us prefer tall girls, some of us would never date a tall girl. I personally prefer shorter girls. Height is one of the least important attributes to me.

I wouldnt mind a guy being a bit shorter than me. But Im most attracted to people my height or taller. Im almost 5ft6.

 

And simon, u are little, but u may grow still. How tall are ur parents and other family members. Nobody in my imediate family is tall.. so i never expected to be that tall.
