Anyhow, I suppose height can be a bit of a barrier.. it's never dawned on me though that it's really of any great significance in a relationship, unless one person has a harder time reaching the top shelf, and the other can put things in the lower shelves so much easier..

I wouldnt mind a guy being a bit shorter than me. But Im most attracted to people my height or taller. Im almost 5ft6.

 

And simon, u are little, but u may grow still. How tall are ur parents and other family members. Nobody in my imediate family is tall.. so i never expected to be that tall.

it's not all that important, but i do like at least a little taller. the perfect height for me in my opinion is about 5 ft. 10 in. or 5 ft. 11 in. because im about 5 ft. 8 in. and i want a guy who is a little taller but not too much taller. if they're like, 6 ft. 3 in. or taller then i just find it intimidating and i feel like the closer in height you are with someone, the easier it is to make a connection with them. i think being at closer eye level help makes a better connection. but that's just my theory. :wacko:

I'm 6'1''-ish and I understand what I'm always told about being very fortunate for being tall instead of short, but it is sometimes awkward interacting girls who are in the lower half of 5 feet. I sometimes feel like an overbearing giant. I'm always shocked when I see recent photographs of me standing a head taller than everyone else, because on the inside i still feel like I'm 13.

So its disconcerting to see that my personal perception of myself is different from the way other people perceive me physically (based on my own discriminations about height). So sometimes I wish I was maybe two inches shorter.

 

As far as partners are concerned...as long as the difference is nothing that would hinder our ability to reproduce, I'm not picky.

Hieght doesn't really matter much for me, I'm really short but the guy I like is the tallest guy in our grade. :lol:

The other thing to remember is that short guys tend to pack on the weight a bit faster than tall guys. The skinniness trait might correlate more closely with what girls find attractive. So if you're a short guy, eat a little less and exercise a bit more.

Mimi is 5ft3" which is really short for an 18yr old. But it doesn't bother me because I like Petit ladies. :cool:

^that's just it, I'm 18 too, and 10 inches is a big difference. Makes me feel all ogre-ish...
