Coldplay,

Your music helps me to live.

It is my therapy.

Thank you.

nice guys real nice

a simple thank you coldplay would have been nice

Seriously, guys. It's not that I don't appreciate their music, or even their being nice to us. I'm just saying, most bands are at least fairly nice to their fans, Coldplay isn't the only one.

Just because the subject of this forum is Coldplay, does NOT mean I can't point that out!

Look, all I was trying to do was point something out I thought a few people were missing. I don't want anyone thinking that all the hyping they did for Viva was just them being nice -- there's a commercial side to bands, too. The Prospekt journals, while very very interesting and informative to fans, were mainly there to generate excitement. There isn't anything wrong with that, I'm just pointing it out. I am not trying to offend anyone. Yes, you can argue that they were just to be nice to the fans etc etc, but they obviously made more people want to buy the record, imo. I'm just saying. I mean, if Coldplay was ONLY oriented to pleasing their fans, they would have said, "Hey, don't buy Viva and then Prospekt's March, because we're releasing a two-for-one deal in a few months with a few extra songs on it!" But they aren't. So I'm pointing it out.

They're still a great band and I wub them. Okay?

^ Granted, Chris mentioned that back in August (which is the article's date), and since then, there's been mentions of the band taking a nice break after the longer-than-expected tour. Simply put, it's not gonna happen this year.
