Kudos to 2732 for some legitimate gripes. Not that there's anything wrong with the rest of you. :P

 

My complaint isn't very legitimate either, but the one thing I hate most is the crap I get for liking them. However, it happens more online than in real life, so it doesn't matter much, I guess. :\

call me greedy or selfish, but that feeling was kinda wonderful..

Maybe this is just because I've been listening to a lot of AC/DC and some metal lately, but they need to:

 

1). Give Jonny some actual solos of more than 3 notes. Even if just live, let him improvise a little.

 

2). Let Guy use some distorted bass, act like Muse for once please.

 

3). Actually rock out a song. The closest they come to actually rocking is probably the ending of Death and All His Friends. They need a head-banger, badly.

 

4). Chris: stop dancing around and twirling all the time. If you can do that and make the song still good, that's fine. But you can't. Put the mic on a stand, turn off the pre-recorded music, pick up a guitar, and act a little more like you did in 03. When you were still one of the better live bands out there.

 

First of all I agree with everything you said.

 

Secondly just two things more really. 1) The costumes have to go. I'm sorry but they look ridiculous, I can only excuse them as much as I do because they are such a good band. Please please bring back normal clothes. I dont care if they all dress alike, just as long as its normal.

2) I didn't really care for Viva as an album, most of the songs were just passable in my opinion, but hate would be a strong word. Definitely my least favorite of anything they've ever done, b-sides included.

naw............i love all his hair during AROBTTH days and i love it curly and long ...........there is just this one interview and a couple pictures to where he seriously looked like a cave man :wreck: its entirely too much hair thaty u seriously cant even see his gorgeous face..............but that was only like 2 pics....:P that i didnt like..........so really its not a big deal at all.........:P

Yes, it really was wonderful. And because that feeling of being the only fan, it felt like 'owning' them.:wacko:

Agree with the costumes. I miss chris's sexy black jacket with the hole on his back:heart:.

And the VLV album wasn't a success for me either.

I felt that way when I couldn't find a concert. As for chris being married, you don't have to elminate gwyneth. You could give her to me, and I could keep her, or give her to my friend as a gift. :P ANd I don't know who ron jeremy is ( I don't watch porn ).

Coldplay confessions...

 

- Before I was really into the band. I just downloaded their discography to see what they were like/what the hype was about. Put it on shuffle cause I'm an idiot. They weren't bad, but I though, like many others, all their song sound the same! I don't know what I was thinking.

 

- I really dislike the chorus of X&Y, almost hate it.

What about 5. Chris and Guy need/need to keep they're hair longer, cause I prefer them with long hair. And I totally agree with number 4.

 

But as to their music, the only thing I don't really love is some of the early singing where Chris sounded a bit, I dunno how to describe it, but it gets a bit boring after too many songs. But he sings so good now it doesn't matter. I wis hhe'd sing a little more like he did on Green Eyes once in a while, he actually really proved he could hold a note on that song.

And as to what 2732 said 1) his dancing is awesome, and 2) he picks up the guitar very often, and he can play it damn good.

i can't stand most of their music videos, w/ the exception of about 7 of them. but most of them are just them playing. there's no story, & i don't even consider it a video. i guess since the music is awesome it makes up for the crappy videos
