April 27, 200917 yr Heck, I don't even think people should stop eating pork. You can't get it from eating pork ;)... Thankfully were i live there hasn't been any cases yet... just 5 "highly suspicious" as the local newspaper says...:\ Oh and then the earthquake too... simply great :inquisitive:
April 27, 200917 yr Ricardo, it is good that you went, better safe than sorry, sorry i am such a fag, but i am a mom and you have to be careful and take care of yourself. its funny when you are young you never ever think anything can happen to you, but shit does happen
April 27, 200917 yr where do you live? Guadalajara... Ricardo, it is good that you went, better safe than sorry, sorry i am such a fag, but i am a mom and you have to be careful and take care of yourself. its funny when you are young you never ever think anything can happen to you, but shit does happen I agree... it's better if it's something really simple... because probably (note: i don't know if it's a true fact, or anything like that, so sorry if i'm wrong...) some of the people that have died is because they think it's nothing and they don't go to the hospital to get treated soon... Edit: by the way... i'm glad you are ok Ricardo ;)
April 27, 200917 yr I think so too Arantza, as i heard on the news today that people with symptoms must go to a doctor inmediately as the medication will only work if 48 hours havent passed since the person got the virus... after that the medication won-t be helpful
April 27, 200917 yr I heard that WE don't have medication at all so if the virus comes here we'll be so in trouble!:\
April 28, 200917 yr Do you fear dying? Yes. I just heard one very interesting piece of info, the reason people are dying from this is the same reason so many died from the 1918 flu pandemic, they were healthy and their bodies overreacted to the virus. I heard that WE don't have medication at all so if the virus comes here we'll be so in trouble! AC360 just had a report that they found 2 flu medicines that are showing a lot of promise.

April 28, 200917 yr Yes. AC360 just had a report that they found 2 flu medicines that are showing a lot of promise. I heard the same thing regarding the young healthy people being at more risk.Personally I don't have any great fear of dying but I do of the way which it happens if that makes sense?.
April 28, 200917 yr Maybe so, but you're more likely to die from the normal flu we've all had before then this, more likely to be shot or stabbed, or die from cancer. If you look at what kills more people, they are a couple million things that are more dangerous to you and me then this. Getting in a car you're more likely to die, but is the news out saying stay out of cars? or stay away from Highways? It's simple propaganda and fear mongering that our governments and news use to make money and gain power. I'm more likely to die from a thousand other things then this, same with you. I completely agree. There's far too much scaremongering going on.:dozey: Same thing with the "terrorist threats".
April 28, 200917 yr I completely agree. There's far too much scaremongering going on.:dozey: Same thing with the "terrorist threats". Exactly, it's just a way for governments to look like they're busy doing something important.
April 28, 200917 yr Exactly, it's just a way for governments to look like they're busy doing something important. And of course, when everyone's pre-occupied with "worrying" the economic crisis and government screw-ups are all swept under the carpet.......................... ;)
April 28, 200917 yr mm what are you doing in san antonio holidays? No it's just it might spread here.. :\
April 28, 200917 yr there's already flu in Jalisco? No, according to the governor ... but they said that the 5 cases are now confirmed... so yes there is now flu here...:\
April 28, 200917 yr I heard the same thing regarding the young healthy people being at more risk.Personally I don't have any great fear of dying but I do of the way which it happens if that makes sense?. Yeah it does.
April 28, 200917 yr No it's just it might spread here.. :\ Julie, Carla don't worry as long as you keep the necesary precautions i'm sure it'll be fine :nice: *panic* There's a confirmed case in my uni. :scared: the guy is at hospital. they were in Cancun few weeks ago. You better stay away from school young lady :whip: Stay home and chat with us :p OMG, Ari. You better be careful. And all Mexicans as well... Take care guys. Thanks Rudy  I heard the same thing regarding the young healthy people being at more risk.Personally I don't have any great fear of dying but I do of the way which it happens if that makes sense?. I don't know about that 1918 pandemic, but the fact that at least in Mexico it's been afecting young adults it's because last year an influenza vaccine was given to older adults and children, leaving the young adults vaccine-free....
