almost 90 possible cases, some hospitals have 100 beds ready just in case the flu keeps spreading.

masks are able at pharmacies (although i hadn't checked if that's true :uhoh: ), Spain is sending money to help Mexico with the flu.

They shut down 2 schools in Houston because of 2 "suspected" cases. Yet during actual "flu season" kids were sick left and right and there were no school closings. :dozey:

Last night it was announced that all work activities in the entirety of the country will be stopped from tomorrow until tuesday, unless it's something completely vital for the everyday life (banks, supermarkets, hospital, drugstores, etc). Both tomorrow and tuesday are holydays in Mexico, so basically only monday would be added (and saturday, for those like me that work that day :dozey:)

Now i'm only waiting for my boss to let us know if we'll stop activities or not :uhoh:

They can be bought at medical supply shops, but if you don't get a proper fitting, they are useless. Plus they are ment to be wore for short periods of time, less than 20 minutes at a time.

 

People are better off just using common sense. If you feel sick, stay home, drink lots of fluids and get some rest. If you are a basically healthy person or you can fight off the flu if you get it. If you are a immunio compromised person, have a serious medical condition, avoid places with a lot of people. If you need to shop, go to the stores when there are few people there. WASH YOUR HANDS!

They either think eating pig products can get you sick or they are worried just having pigs around could lead to the virus....Either way its a stupid idea seeing as how this is spreading person to person now.
