ah, to heck with the Emmys...i'm happy as long as they keep up the great episodes on House & Hugh still continues on as Greg House for a whiles yet.

 

tho US series tend to die off at 7 seasons... :\ case in point :

 

The West Wing = 7 seasons

Star Trek : Voyager = 7 seasons

Star Trek : Deep Space 9 = 7 seasons

Homicide : Life on the Street = 7 seasons

But House has the potential to be one of those shows that last years and years.

But even if that's the case, House IMO is a lot better than 90% of the shows out there.

 

And yes, fuck the Emmy's, but still, he HAS to be recognized for his work.

It's definitely smarter than most. And IMHO Greg House is one of the most complex and interesting character that has been developed for US network TV. Even if House goes on for only 2 more seasons, at least it'd be remembered for being a pretty damn good series.

 

It'd definitely be nice for Hugh to win the Emmys, after winning Golden Globes and SAG Awards, but I don't think he's the type of person who needs another award to continue doing what he does best, which is being a well-respected actor. The support and recognition for House and his other projects from the fans say it all.

a lot of American series don't seem to be lasting much longer than a few seasons, so the fact that House is going on its sixth already is pretty fantastic.

I agree with that :D The Emmys may be the award ceremony given the most mainstream publicity, but I think the SAG awards is more prestigious... A recognition from your fellow actors.

I love House too, but I also enjoy what he did with Stephen Fry on A Bit of Fry and Laurie very much. Impeccable comedic timing, never fails to bring a smile on my face.

yeah, in the episode Clueless it shows his tivo recordings and Blackadder is on there along with The OC and Spongebob. :P

I've only seen most of season four, half of series 3, a few eps of series 5... (a combination of me getting in to it late and weird scheduling by two separate channels in the UK)

 

 

I prefer the new team. I love Kutner and I think because the first eps I ever saw were where they were all getting picked, i'm naturally drawn to them more.

 

From the first team, I like Chase and Foreman is ok, but the more I watch of series 5, the more Foreman annoys me.

 

I find series 3 Cameron sooooooo whiny and annoying, but she's ok in series 5.

i can't stand Cameron. :angry:

she was all right in the very beginning of the show, up until they decided to make her be in love with House. then she was just annoying.

i always liked House but then i stopped watching it for awhile. During that time i got all Coldplay obsessed and after that i couldnt stop watching House and i didnt know why. Then i realised it was because Hugh looks like Chris... and because its an awesome show! :D
