Which came first - chickens or eggs?

Featured Replies

yes but they aren't wild anymore, they don't get hunted, they are bred to hatch eggs, their efficiency in that department is controlled by humans, they wont evolve, much like we wont.

Right. I suppose that's basically right.

Anyway this is sort of a silly question because it's impossible to answer if it's only for chickens / chicken eggs.

NO SHIT

Chickens are not going to evolve though, so it's not continual, it has stopped

I don't agree... Evolution never stopped and will never !

Look how they're keeped nowadays, with all these chemicals etc etc... Sure, they're genetical mutations each day, let's see what's gonna happen... if anything happens, maybe won't we have enough time to see it :uhoh:

New question : was the first bacterium ever a girl or a boy ?

That's not how evolution works.

It doesn't just happen for the sake of it.

I don't think they inject chemicals into chickens that would cause genetic mutations, they've already selectively bred them to get maximum efficiency.

So you know everything right, you're the New Oracle

The biggest scientists are probably wrong then !

I didn't say they inject chemicals, anyway chemicals are everywhere, and genetic mutations happen even to humans you know ;)

And it wasn't gender specific
